Interesting I couldn’t even see the mountain while climbing (i.e. driving) up it. We can only see what’s in front of us. Here we are at Dinosaur Quarry where dinosaur bones were discovered in 1909 by Earl Douglass. We went to 5 National Parks during our road trip (not counting Glen Canyon Dam which we went into the parking area but only were at Antelope Marina docking point and counting Grand Teton which we drove through and stopped for a photo op). . Josiah was so happy to collect his 4th grade #everykidoutdoors yellow cards. 💳 Jonas and I were happy to get free parking. Mostly, we are grateful God kept us safe and seeing His amazing creation. . We didn’t get to see Tower Falls at #yellowstone. We did get to go to Idaho Falls and walk along the trails and enjoy the park at the Riverwalk. #BryceNationalPark con sus Hoodoos o Chimeneas de hadas, es uno de los destinos naturales más únicos y sorprendentes en los que hemos estado, y podemos afirmar que este parque debería ser más visitado de lo que es! Queda a 1.5hrs de #ZionPark y los une una de las carreteras más lindas que hemos recorrido, llena de montañas rocosas con formas y colores espectaculares y particular un túnel que atraviesa #ZionCanyon (requiere un permiso para ser cruzado que se pide en la entrada de Zion y si el carro es grande paga us$15). #Brycepark se puede recorrer en carro pequeño o en shuttle del parque si el carro es grande o se quiere evitar la espera para estacionar (cada 15 min pasa por cada estación). Las estaciones son miradores y entradas a senderos para recorrer el valle de Hoodoos color naranja, y les aseguramos es una vista única!! El sendero más famoso es #NavajoLoop que tiene una bajada en ZigZag hasta #WallstreetBryce un estrecho de piedras naranja con un árbol en la mitad absolutamente espectacular y hacia #ThorHammer uno de los Hoodoos más icónicos del parque. Ese circuito se une con el segundo más recomendado que es #QueensGarden el cual tiene una aglomeración divina de Hoodoos con una simetría digna del jardín de una reina! Los dos circuitos tienen en total algo más de 5kms de los cuales 2 son bajando, 1 es llano y 2 son subiendo entonces tiene una dificultad intermedia pero haciéndolo temprano para evitar sol y con pausas, se logra y es increíblemente lindo! La salida y llegada de estos circuitos son desde los miradores #SunsetPoint hasta #SunrisePoint por lo que la inspiración de inicio y la recompensa de cierre valen la pena!
