Skvělý Ladislav Kuklík tentokrát dostal velice neobvyklý rám kombinující industriální jednoduchost a eleganci zakázkového modelového rámu. Rám má totiž sice jednoduchý profil ostrohranného hranolu, vznikl ale jako klasický zakázkový modelový rám. Nejprve tedy čistý rám bez povrchové úpravy a teprve poté na něj byl nanesen kovový prach a zoxidován do krásné přírodní rzi. Rámeček báječně ladí s detaily v obraze, je ale zároveň natolik výrazný, že nebylo nutné přidávat dodatečné pasparty ani další komponenty, které by byly zbytečně navíc a vystačili jsme si s jedinou muzeální paspartou. To to bych se na to podívala! Zatímco tenhle obraz Klenoty vytvořený na zakázku podle jeho většího bratra Koruna je hotový a perfektně zaschlý, a tak už čeká na své budoucí majitele, rozmohl se mi na malovací ploše nového obrazu takový nešvar. Některé barvy ne a ne zaschnout. A to i třeba třetí den. Mám to štěstí, že můžu svoji kreativitu krotit i bouřit pod střechou našich pražských Bradavic, a tedy v @gabriel_loci, místě, kde se společně míchá krev historie a míza současného uměleckého světa. Společně s drinky z venkovního baru v karavanu. Jediné, co tenhle zámek nemíchá, je roční období. Kdo z vás sem kdy vkročil, ví, že vás instantně ovane chlad udržovaný poctivě širokými zdmi. Vládne tu prostě pořád zima. Naštěstí jsou okna mého ateliéru otočena na západ, takže když je venku slunno, rozevřu je dokořán a pustím dovnitř venek a na chvíli svému malířskému místečku zamíchám jeho „pokojovou teplotu“. Ale teď se zdá, že na můj nový obraz, který (ano, na sobě má spoustu vrstev, asi aby mu nebyla zima) prostě neusychá. Ale nerovnoměrně a jen u některých barev. Stalo se vám to někdy? Barvy by měly být kvalitní, používám Liquitex, Amsterdam a Academie, ale nepřišla jsem na algoritmus toho, které se rozhodly stát olejovkami a prostě neschnout. Asi ho vezmu na procházku na vzduch a sluníčko. Ostatně to bychom mohli častěji, brát své obrazy jako parťáky na výlet. Mějte se slunečně! A pro víc momentek ze světa malování sledujte můj IG profil. Socha Miroslava Tyrše u Tyršova domu v Praze Nedávno jsem se rozhodla začít pracovat na sérii perokreseb s tématem památek v Česku. Zatím se zaměřuji na pražské památky, a tento obrázek považuji za takový úvodní záblesk inspirace, zkoušku, zda mě tento styl a téma nadchnou. Právě tuto sochu jsem se rozhodla vyobrazit, protože kolem Tyršova domu jsem dlouho chodila z práce domů, a vždy jsem se v okolí cítila velmi dobře. Jednou jsem nahlédla do dvora, a bylo rozhodnuto. Tyrš se stal takovým "nultým" obrázkem. (I když ve skutečnosti prvním, ale jelikož jsem v tomto stylu ještě nepracovala, byla to pro mě v mnohém nová zkušenost). Obrázek je k dispozici na prodej, již zarámovaný. Případnému zájemci pošlu samozřejmě fotku i s rámem. 😊 ENG The Statue of Miroslav Tyrš at Tyršův Dům Recently, I decided to start working on a series of ink drawings featuring Czech sights. For now, I'm focusing on Prague sights, and I consider this drawing as an initial spark of inspiration, a test to see if this style and topic will captivate me. I chose to depict this statue specifically because I used to walk past Tyrš House on my way home from work, and I always felt very comfortable in its surroundings. One day, I peeked into the courtyard, and the decision was made. Tyrš became the "zeroth" image (although technically the first, but because I hadn't worked in this style before, it was a new experience for me in many ways). On April 19th, we attended a non traditional concert at the Bohemian National Hall, delving deeper into the world of Antonin Dvorak. The evening was presented by the talented pianist and musicologist, Dr. Katelyn Bouska @katebouska . She took us on a special tour through Dvorak’s America, focusing on his compositions, using a projector to highlight interesting facts before performing them herself.🎶 🎹Dr. Katelyn Bouska is known for her frequent solo and collaborative performances and she has garnered attention with her unique programming. She combines rarely-heard Czech and American music with pieces written specifically for her by emerging composers, captivating audiences both in America and on the international concert stage. Today marks the 120th anniversary of Antonin Dvorak’s death. It was truly an amazing experience to delve deeply into his work and enjoy this evening with DAHA. I visited Bulgaria last week and I really enjoyed my time there. Sofia has a very distinct atmosphere shaped by the immediate proximity of the Vitosha mountain range, at the foot of which the city is nestled. I particularly savored the delicious dishes of Bulgarian cuisine, which I enjoyed immensely.😊 Additionally, I visited the Bulgarian radio, where an interview took place, primarily focusing on my concert here. The program featured music exclusively by Czech composers. I thoroughly enjoyed performing for the Bulgarian audience. Bulgarians have an affinity for the Czech Republic, and the same sentiment extends to Czech culture. This is why my interpretations of Smetana, Janáček, Suk, and Dvořák resonated so well. Many thanks to the Czech Center in Sofia for facilitating this wonderful opportunity and for the exceptional care provided throughout my stay.

Vracela jsem se z procházky, nasáklá vůní lesa a všechna rychlost všedního dne se v těch krocích rozplynula. Pod nohama jsem cítila každý kamínek a jemný prach polní cesty. Aroma usínajících květin sytilo vzduch jako v květinářství a přímo přede mnou se odehrával jemný západ slunce, který ozařoval cáry mraků na nebi.
