I know most of the time social media can just show the pretty side of things. And as someone who hasn’t always done life with Jesus by my side, I can tell you, it’s WAYYY better on this side of the grass. Our life isn’t always a fairytale, walking down Main Street and eating Mickey shaped food 😜, and especially over the last couple of months we’ve been tested in many ways mentally and financially. Through prayer and trust in the Lord, we got through some very tough moments. Did you know there’s a special spot in Toontown for your baby aged 6-23 months? It’s located in a corner of Goofy’s how-to-play-yard and has soft padded things to climb on and around. When we visited in the afternoon, there was a cast member manning the gate to make sure only babies and small toddlers were going inside this special area. I love that there’s a safe area for your little one to crawl and walk around without being afraid of them being run over. Of course the oblivious, Diapers and Wipes! 🧻 We love Water Wipes and Huggies! They have been our go to with Reece! I’d love to know your go to diapers and wipes! 2. Going on with the baby theme here… baby food is something you can not buy in Disneyland! make sure to pack ALL you will need!! We love Beech-Nut baby food! 3. I can’t forget about my medicine case! You never know when someone’s going to get sick on a ride, and need something for their tummy! Or get a headache and need an Ibuprofen! 💊 4. I also bring my oil bag because I prefer to use oils before medication when possible! I have an oil for tummy, headaches, anxiety, calming, and more! I always start there first! Some oils are for kids and some are for adults! You never know who will need them! 💧 5. Lastly, I always bring ear muffs for Reece (baby) and Brooks (who has ADHD and ODD)! If you have a child that has a hard time with loud noises, bright lights, or any sort of sensory issue. We have found that ear muffs help them sooo much! One of the quieter locations that are super magical at Disneyland is Snow White’s wishing well, off to the side of the castle. It’s on a side path that runs between Main St and Fantasyland, but you can see Snow White and the 7 dwarves here, hear her sing, and pose at the well. Characters also like to use this path as they walk around Fantasyland. The Lunar New Year celebration is in full swing at California Adventure now through February 18, 2024. There are lots of food booths with seasonal foods offered only during this celebration, and a fun procession with Mulan, Mushu, and dragon dancers!
