Von Jaisalmer ging es mit den Jeep in die indische Wüste unweit der Grenze Pakistans. Erst mit den Jeep und später auf Kamelen. Bei den einen hinterließ der ritt Sonnenbrand und bei den anderen schmerzende Kronjuwelen 😉 Kurz vor Sonnenuntergang kamen wir an unseren Lagerplatz unter freien Himmel an. Hennas werden meist zu Hochzeiten getragen. Es gibt traditionell einen ganzen Tag für die Braut an denen Henna Künstlerinnen die Hände und Arme der Braut damit bemalen. Wir durften eine Freundin unseres Guides und ihre Familie zu Hause besuchen. Während sie unsere Hände bemalte, bekochte uns ihre Mutter. So konnten wir traditionelles indisches Essen essen und das Leben in einer indischen Familie kennen lernen. Teil 1 - Affentempel (Galta ji) in Jaipur im September 2019 Dies ist ein Tempel der dem Sonnengott gewidmet ist. Weil hier zahlreiche Affen leben, werden sie hier gefüttert weil sie als Reinkarnation des Gottes Hanumana gelten. Um zum Tempel zu gelangen müssten wir einen Berg hoch und runter wandern (es war morgens schon sehr warm). Der Guide erklärte uns, dass wir die Tüte Erdnüsse niemals den Affen zeigen und die Erdnüsse auch niemals festhalten dürfen, weil die Affen sonst aggressiv werden, wenn man ihnen das essen verweigert. . September 2019 - Jaipur (the pink city) An dem Tag haben wir eine Aussichtsplattform besucht um über die unendlichen weiten Jaipurs zuschauen. Das Ende dieser Stadt ließ sich garnicht erahnen durch das diesige Wetter, welches für diese schwüle Jahreszeit typisch ist. Bei Sonnenuntergang fing die Stadt dann an zu vibrieren durch die vielen moslemischen Gesänge zum Abendgebet. In Jaipur haben wir dann auch Märkte besucht und und im Tattoo Café gab es den leckersten Oreo Shake aller Zeiten. Taj Mahal - das kennt wohl jeder. Der damalige islamische Mogul (Kaiser) ließ dieses Mausoleum für seine verstorbene Lieblingsfrau bauen. 11 Jahre lang wurden rund 20.000 Menschen (keine Sklaven) für dieses Bau beschäftigt. Eine 1,5 km lange Schlange aus Elefanten beförderte den Mamor nach Agra und in diesen Mamor puzzelte und schleife man Edel- und Halbedelsteine als Blumenmuster in das Mamor ein. Varanasi - September2019 In Delhi traf ich auf meine @thedragontrip Gruppe. Unser erster Ort war Varanasi. Dort hatten wir einen Mandala Kurs. Von der Ganga Arti Zeremonie konnten wir nicht viel sehen, dafür ging es in einen der bekanntesten Lassi Läden Indiens, den Blue Lassi Shop. Dort hingen zahlreiche Passbilder von Besuchern aller Welt und die Lassis wurden im richtigen Tontopf serviert. Sehr lecker! Auf den lecken Bild seht ihr, wie schnell man in Indien Publikum findet. Started in Hongkong, we've done a full loop threw China going to Yangshuo, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shaolin, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Fujian Province, Macau and back to Hongkong where we all started as strangers. . For one of our last night in Shanghai we did a river cruise at night to admire the skyline but the best night still is, when we went to a hotel overlooking the skyline with a jacuzzi 😍. Hiroshima/Miyajima Island/Osaka 🇯🇵 - We visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and we then went on ferry trip to Miyajima Island to see Itsukushima shrine and it was covered up! We travelled to Osaka, our last trip together in Japan! We’ve visited Osaka Castle and we went out as it was our last night out together and I will definitely miss them and I had the best trip with the best company in Japan! Kyoto/Hiroshima 🇯🇵 - We cycled all day around Kyoto, we visited The Golden Pavilion at Kinkaku-Ji and Zen temple where you can discover your inner peace with meditation led by a Buddhist monk. A Buddhist Monk hit our spine with the keisaku which is a wooden stick used during periods of meditation to remedy sleepiness or lapses of concentration. Does this place need any introduction? . We made it just in time for sunset. First I really thought that the wall was near of Beijing but it was still an three hours bus journey there, then I heard a lot of mixed thing about the great wall of China. One being full of tourist making it hard to soak in the beauty of this ancient place but the tour company brought us to a restored part of the wall and to our surprise we got the whole place for us

Oh look a Panda 🐼 . I enjoyed learning about this animal during our stay in Chengdu, Sichuan area. It's the last region were you can find them in nature. We had to chance to see them in the research base of Chengdu, learned about they're food diet which is mostly bamboo or leaves and more. . Also fun fact do you know why the WWF Logo is a Panda? The terracotta army . First emperor of China believed in life after death so he let build humansized warriors made out of clay (terracotta) to protect him in the afterlife . Estimations around 8000 sculpture! And they all weight around 135kg. Mind-blowing to see that. When I first came across this Japanese word, I couldn’t help but think of this photo. Even though the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is extremely popular & crowded, all you have to do is look up to see the sun streaming through the dense bamboo leaves and feel at awe with nature. 😌✨ . In general, Kyoto & nearby Arashiyama is quite touristy, but there’s still a magical, timeless quality that has me coming back here again and again. . Mischief managed 😏⚡️ Never knew I was an amusement park girl, but after exploring the attractions at #universalstudiosjapan in Osaka, I am completely sold! 🤩🙌 . I had the most amazing time on all the rides we did and shows we saw in the park - I don’t think I’ve been this entertained or wowed in a while! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was personally my favorite part of the park, and totally brought back all the magical & nostalgic feels for this Potterhead 💛 But honestly, I loved every bit of this place and can’t wait to come back! . You can’t tell but this boat ride started off in torrential rain with thunder and lightening right above us. Basically in an oversized canoe that is powered by three men using one oar and this stick. Part way through the rain stopped, fog lifted from the mountains surrounding us and the sun came out. The atmosphere was incredible just floating through these gentle rapids in the canyon covered in trees turning red for Fall 🍁 Can you believe that was the most rain we had for our entire three week trip in Japan. November has been an incredible month to visit, between 18-20 degrees each day. For sightseeing that’s the perfect temperature for us 😍 Fancy a ride down this river? “Ten years from now, make sure you can say you chose your life, you didn’t settle for it.” Phil and I have travelled for years by ourselves and for the first time we decided to say yes to an opportunity to travel as a group! For me it is hard to let go of the organising reigns - will it be up to my standard? Will I get to see what I want to see? Will it cost more? Will I get on with other people who I haven’t met before? Will we be the only couple? Want the verdict? I absolutely loved it! Not having to organise anything was actually so refreshing! It was relaxing and inspiring, getting a tour guide to explore the country with. We made instant connections with everyone on tour and left as friends even planning meet ups for when we are back! When it was just Phil and I for a day we kinda missed the group. The activities we took part in were ones we would never have ever done - like singing Karaoke in a bar full of strangers or Sumo wrestling an actual Sumo Wrestler! We have made memories that we would never have made had it not been for @thedragontrip. If you have ever thought group travel wasn’t for you, I urge you to think again. It’s one of our favourite trips we have ever been on. Thank you @Dragontrip and @chipamwenya for this. There’s something about wandering through thousands of torii gates in the loneliness of dusk that’s just utterly magical ✨ The further along you walk through these gates, the quieter it becomes. And in the stillness, perhaps lost in your own thoughts, you learn to find yourself again. ⛩ #witandfollywords . Mysterious & mystical. Exploring Fushimi Inari during the daytime vs at nighttime is quite literally as different as night and day. If it’s your first time visiting here, I’d still recommend visiting during the day once (before 9am preferably to avoid the crowds), but my favorite time to come here is right after the sun sets & the crowds start to wane. Hello from Hakone. This famous spot on the shores of Lake Ashi quickly became a favourite. You have to queue with at least 30-40 other people to get this shot (most of whom were Japanese) The magical Tori Gates here can also be seen from the water with Mt Fuji next door.
