For the last few years this flower bed between the nature reserve & Holi Moi at Dunster Beach had been tendered by the beach staff, but it was looking very much the worse for time. Last year the dying plants were removed & it was left for nature to recover, now just look how healthy it looks for being left alone! We've always looked after & cleaned the bird bath & made sure the water is fresh at our changeovers or whenever we are at the beach, there are now more birds and bees visiting. Hello. It’s Fawnie (nee nee) here. Today I went to a place called Dunster and my humans said I was really brave because it was the first time since being adopted that I’ve been to a beach or walked down a path by a busy road, because I am quite scared of new things. It was the first time I went to a coffee shop too. I liked it at @castlecoffeehousedunster because they were kind and I got to sit in front of their fire. I almost went to sleep but I needed to keep one eye open because I’m still a bit scared of being separated from my humans 💜 Then we went to a bar @luttrellarms and my mum said I was very brave. I nearly walked into a door cos it was see through but my dad managed to open it in time. I made some other lovely friends @dunsterbeachhut but more about that in the morning. My mum said we did all this because we are raising money so our new sister Izzy can come and live with us and to help the people to take care of other dogs who have been treated very cruelly like I was once. My mum says she hopes she gets some donations. I have donated a few cuddles today but I don’t think that’s what she means. If you know what she means and can help, that would be ace.
