Cancer is weird. I never imagined I would have a notes section in my phone that looked like this but here we are. A list of diagnosis to keep handy for all the insurance and medical paperwork. After last week’s scans the diagnosis code list grew. It’s kind of like sticker shock…But worse. It takes my breath away at times. It’s been a lot to process. I don’t look sick and most days don’t feel too sick. Cancer is weird. I know others have stronger choice of words for it. And trust me I have had my own thoughts as well. It’s definitely a disease of the enemy. I hate that so many people have to endure the pain, suffering, and agony it brings to our bodies and minds. Yet, I know God has created our bodies to heal themselves. In due time, with God’s healing touch, and with an integrative treatment approach—my body will be healed. God has reminded me so many times, there is a purpose to all of this. I have seen so much good played out already. I know there is even more to come. I said in my last post that I would have a separate post about my job and below will be the story. I started this job in July 2022. Had my baby in March 2023 and was let go in October. There was no reason for them to get rid of me and they just used the reason of my probation period. In the moment ofcorse I was in shock, mad, sad, and all of the above because how was I going to take care of my family with no job but I knew that something was shifting in my life. God closes doors but can open up new ones and I had to stop and let God fight the battle. In the new year I will be starting a new journey and have been praying for God to have his hand over the whole process. I know that it will be alright and I keep trusting God. So proud of this little boy…cast free after 2 months!! Hardly complained and tonight got a bath with no garbage bag around his arm❤️ I’ve always encouraged him to speak up for himself and ask his own questions at doctor appointments…teaching him to advocate is a must and makes you feel in control of the uncontrollable. Before his surgery…I asked if they could place the IV in his ankle instead of the good arm. Like many of us, he hates the IV’s…even the sight of it. ‘NO pokey’s Mom’😭 We had an unplanned stay at the Phx Children’s hospital after surgery and I was so thankful they placed the IV in his ankle…covered it up with a sock and could maneuver without constantly seeing something so scary and traumatic for him. He will have to go under again in February to get this rod out and I’ll 💯% ask for that again—just in case he needs to stay longer than expected. This is a reminder to be your own advocate and let your kids ask their own questions too. Some of the little things are the big things…I hope this post allows some other kiddo needing an IV to have it placed in an out of sight/out of mind spot🙏🏼 #advocate #boymom #justask #fightmybattles

You might have noticed the devil bringing up your old sins in dreams, visions etc. You might of had dreams of old boyfriends & other people from your past God removed He is also bringing up past traumas. These are not your thoughts but the devil trying to use your past against you! It's a TRAP! He's trying to make you feel unworthy, too broken etc. to receive the new things/blessings God is about to bring into your life. He's trying to trap you in shame again so you can be too preoccupied with the past so you can't receive the new things God is doing! The devil has been attacking me with my past lately & trying to use it against me so I can forfeit the blessings God is bringing into my life. I can't be the only one he's doing this to. We have to uproot these seeds before they take root! Matthew 13:24-25 "Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while men SLEPT, his ENEMY came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way." The Holy Spirit has been calling you deeper into the secret place, to spend more time in His presence. He may be also telling you to go into fasting & prayer. You might need to take a break from social media too. Do what God is instructing you to do, the devil will take advantage of your distractions. We must wake up from spiritual slumber in Jesus name! You may be complaining to God that you're tired of going through spiritual warfare but listen the devil does not care about you, he has no mercy. He's going to keep attacking you until you leave this earth. ‼️Long Post Alert‼️ Every now and then, depression creeps in and sometimes gets the best of me. The enemy whispers doubts and negativity repeatedly in my mind to the point where I believe it. It has a negative affect in every area of my life, which starts to affect those around me. Spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy knows exactly what weapon to use and when to use it. I’ve been reading through Psalms and Proverbs and came across Psalm 42:5, which states, “Why, my soul are you so dejected? Why are you in such turmoil? Put your hope in God, for I will still praise him, my Savior and my God.” Psalm 42 repeats this exact statement in verse 11 as well. So, whatever it is that the enemy tries to use against you, whether it be anxiety, depression, doubt, fear, etc., PUT YOUR HOPE IN GOD AND PRAISE HIM ANYWAY!!! The enemy may know what weapon to use, but we have the authority of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy every time!! God will take what the enemy means for evil and will turn it for good (Genesis 50:20) just as long as we remember to put our hope in Him!!
