The annual Baishatun Mazu Pilgrimage commenced on 18th March this year. 🎉 This revered folk event, spanning over a century in Taiwan, pays homage to Mazu, the Taoist sea goddess. Believers carry Mazu's statue on a palanquin, accompanying the procession on foot. 💪👟 Starting from the Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao, Miaoli, the pilgrimage covers nearly 400km, culminating at Chaotian Temple in Yunlin's Beigang Township and back. The entire pilgrimage is expected to span 9 days.
