I always wondered where the 'bear' part comes in. They're not bears. They're not related to bears. They are #marsupial.......I guess they look a bit beary if you exclude their face and ears...........up until now, my closest koala encounter was with one of those little clip toy koalas that my nan had attached to a curtain in her bedroom. And I'm lucky to see these.........the koala population is in decline due to their habitat now confined a to a small sliver of the Australian east coast.........
