Nature. Reconnecting with the scent and sounds of the forest. I've pushed myself out of my comfort zone a lot this year. Survival courses, long hikes, alone time. Sitting in my own feelings - excavating emotions I have buried in alcohol has really been a journey in its own. I look forward to my true self. I look forward to truly feeling love, grief, desire, excitement, sorrow, joy. All of it. Sobriety isn't always sunshine. It can be lonely, it can be isolating. Pomyślałam sobie że może jednak trochę tęsknicie za moimi postami 😊. Ostatnio niczym ta czapla z zarośli obserwuję co się tu dzieje i powiem szczerze że jeszcze z tych zarośli nie jestem gotowa wyjść i gwiazdorzyć jak ta druga druga z kolejnych kafelkach. To było interesujące doświadczenie minionej niedzieli. Nadmienię jedynie że łabędź sprawiał wrażenie jakby dokładnie zdawał sobie sprawę z tego że to nie on jest obiektem na który jest kierowany obiektyw i on robi tu tylko za rekwizyt 😁. Happiness. I feel it when I remember that I have befriended the forest spaces around where I live. I go to visit the same trees and speak with them. I notice and feel awed by the vibrant new growth on the tips of branches, the neon greens of mosses and lichens, the surprise pop of colour brought by fungus and mushrooms. I revel at the changes in ferns throughout the seasons and remember to offer patience and trust to myself and the gentle unfurling of things in life. What I plan, what I wish for will come in time…or not. Or it will shift, adapt and bloom in a different unknown direction. Trees grow out of stumps and fallen trees, on the side of a cliff, wrapping around structures long vacated. Like trees, we can grow in unimaginable ways out of desolate or unimaginable landscapes. Nature reminds me that I belong. That my grief and challenges and sorrow is not unknown in nature, it is part of the cycle. The sacred circle of life and death and regrowth and beginnings and endings. I can find contentment and happiness in nature, it makes all my “stuff” make more sense somehow. And I ALWAYS feel creative during and after a walk in the forest. And lighter. And happy. Which can feel hard to come by sometimes. Kiedy dwa tygodnie temu pojechałam "na chwilę" do domu, stęskniona wyrwałam się na mniej niż "na chwilę" , bo na 2 godziny do mojego ulubionego lasu, na granicy Warmii i Mazur nie liczyłam że las przywita mnie takim kawalerskim stadem. Połowa lutego, a wtedy właśnie miało to miejsce, to czas kiedy byki zaczynają zrzucać poroże. Miałam to szczęście że jeszcze wszystkie były z wieńcami na głowach. Zimsko nabiranje je še posebej zanimivo. Narava se umiri, krošnje dreves so odvrgle svoje liste in ptičje petje ja malček potihnilo. Pod nogami škriplje sneg in pod odpadlim in razkrajajočim se listjem se skrivajo marsikatere rastline in gobe ki jim mraz ne škodi. Sedaj si lahko v gozdu naberete zajčjo deteljico, grenkuljico, navadno zvezdico ali kurja črevca in še marsikatero drugo. Če poznate rastišča čemaža, si lahko izkopljete čemaževe koreninice v katerih so sedaj še posebej skoncentriran vsi sokovi. Kiedyś, ten kawałek drewna, ten pieniek wyrwany z korzeniami przez wiatr, był częścią drzewa. Drzewa które miało swój kształt / formę, zapach i barwę. Płynęło w nim z wolna życie aż przyszedł ten wiatr i z korzeniami wyrwał je. Dzisiaj leży, podobny w formie do głowy jelenia, zrzuconej maski Herna. Kawałek drewna, które kiedyś było drzewem, które zapewne mało kogo zatrzymało przy sobie, zatrzymało teraz mnie. Kiedy los rzuci Cię na nową ścieżkę zazwyczaj nie wiesz czego się spodziewać. Szczególnie wtedy, kiedy nie widać jej końca. Dzisiaj, w lesie dobrze mi znanym, znalazłam nową ścieżkę. Dawno już nie czułam takiej ekscytacji nieznanym. Cóż za zapach wiódł mnie po kobiercu jesiennych liści, wspaniały. Oddech sam z siebie I niezauważenie nabrał głębokości a ilość receptorów jakby się podwoiła. Ścieżka, której latem i późną wiosną nie widać, nie widać też jej na mapach okazała się piękną podróżą przez jesień. Kolory na drzewach, których już w pozostałych częściach lasu nie widać, zmieniały się w brunatność w której zanurzały się stopy które za chwilę nabierały lekkości na opadłym igliwiu cisów w kolorze gryczanego miodu. A wszystko to poprzetykane żywicznym zapachem świerków poukrywanych za ciągnącą się wzdłuż ścieżki ścianą młodej leszczczyny, ukształtowanych w żywopłot przez, zęby jeleni młodych buków i grabów. Zapach. Zapachu, dotychczas, powszechnie nie da się przesłać przez internet, nie da się umieścić posta w SM, poprzez który uruchomimy zmysł węchu. Ze zmysłem smaku jest trochę inaczej bo jeżeli patrzysz na zdjęcie zupy z dyni i wiesz jakie inne warzywa oraz przyprawy do zupy zostały dodane to w pewnym sensie mózg przetwarza wiadomości i smak w jakimś stopniu przywołuje z naszej pamięci. Jeszcze łatwiej jest z bardziej charakterystycznymi smakami takimi jak smaki pierników, rosołu, czy nawet sałatek warzywnych. Jednak zapach, zapach to zupełnie inna przestrzeń. Jestem osobą wysokowrażliwą na zapachy, czuję to, czego inni nie wyczuwają i ból głowy odczuwam w pierwszej nanosekundzie kiedy do mojego nosa dotrze nietolerowany zapach. Jesień, nawet nie wiosna i nie lato to dla mnie najbardziej zapachowa pora roku. Kocham wszystkie zapachy jesieni. Butwiejące liście o zapachu orzechów włoskich, obumierające trawy, świeżo przeorana gleba, rozgrzana nieśmiałymi promieniami słońca kora drzew, zebrane jabłka leżace w skrzynce, zapach powietrza ogrzanego przez kaloryfer lub jeden z najwspanialszych zapachów dzieciństwa, rozgrzany kaflowy piec w domu babci, zapach drożdżowego ciasta wydobywający się z piekarnika czy nawet zapach rozmrażanej lodówki i zapach jesiennych kałuż. Wszystkie te zapachy trudno opisać a przesłać przy pomocy elektronicznych środków przekazu powszechnie nie jest na razie możliwe. Jedyny warminski Smok o jakim mi było wiadomo do dzisiaj to smok który siał postrach w pięknym warmińskim miasteczku - Ornecie. Jak głosi legenda, smoka zgładził ponoć sam św. Jerzy.
