We put on our workout clothes but can’t face the gym and flick on Netflix instead. We often wonder– ‘why can’t I be - or do - more than this?’ Am I right? 🤷♀️ I’m here to tell you, you’re looking at yourself in all the wrong places. 5 things that highly confident (and often successful) women NEVER do 💭 1️⃣They never make another woman feel insecure. Ever. They ONLY lift each other up. 2️⃣They don’t gossip or talk behind another person’s back. Too driven to notice but self-aware enough to know that there are always two sides to every story. 3️⃣They have insecurities, but don’t allow them to stop them from going after exactly what they want. 4️⃣They don’t let failure hurt their self-esteem. Hey my gorgeous ladies – I’m jumping on the completely fabulous I AM Enough bandwagon to support Sharon bestbeforeenddate and her not for profit social enterprise shoutloudercic 💪🏽 In honour of us all, I wanted to share some heartfelt words from me to you… Every one of us, no matter how shiny Instagram may sometimes portray us, has days when the dishes don’t get done, the dog haired carpet goes unvacuumed, the fresh veg goes off in the fridge because we can’t be arsed to cook so we settle for cheese on toast instead. We put on our workout clothes but can’t face the gym and flick on Netflix instead. We often wonder– ‘why can’t I be - or do - more than this?’ Am I right? 🤷♀️ I’m here to tell you, you’re looking at yourself in all the wrong places. Instead, ❤️ Look into the eyes of your adult kids who appreciate your words of wisdom even when they’re rushing out the door. ❤️ Look at your happy old dog – you can’t get a better gage of your kindness and caring than those soft, sloppy cuddles. ❤️ Look at the warm, cosy home that might be messy but is full of silliness and laughter and tears that are shared with those you love and who love you ❤️ Look at your reflection and really see who is looking back: Forget the grey roots, the thread veins, the droopy eyelids and lines and see instead, the strength, the light and compassion. See that every day – good or bad – you ARE ENOUGH. Vrouw zijn, het is me wat!🤯 We moeten succesvol, knap, ambitieus, lief, leuk, grappig, mama, zus, partner, ... zijn en houden zo vaak 100 ballen 🏐tegelijk in de lucht waardoor we onszelf al wel eens durven vergeten.😮💨 Zo'n 2 jaar geleden begon ik met de eerste 'I AM WOMAN' sessies in de studio en wat waren deze dagen magisch.✨️ Iedere vrouw stapte met een bang hartje binnen en iedere vrouw bloeide 🌱 tijdens de sessie helemaal open en (her)ontdekte haar inner goddess.💕 Aangezien ik deze fotoshoots altijd begin met een hair & make up 💄 sessie, heb je niet het gevoel dat je meteen met een vreemde aan de slag gaat maar leren we elkaar al een beetje kennen en kan ik je alvast op je gemak stellen.🥰 Tijdens de fotosessie help ik je met het uitkiezen van de juiste lingerie en help ik je bij het poseren zodat je lichaam op iedere foto mooi uitkomt.📸 Ik heb alvast een moment in mijn agenda vrijgemaakt voor jullie dat deze sessies opnieuw kunnen doorgaan en dat op 9 juni 2024. Seven years ago, my husband and I were preparing to welcome our baby girl into this world. The peace of knowing that you and your husband/spouse/partner created life as one, the peace of hearing my babies first cries to them learning how to walk and moving around life without needing my hand, the peace of unconditionally love that's something I can never describe, the peace of embracing unpredictability and so much more.
