Viashivan Dragon from Visions. Here’s the big boy. When you sacrifice Spitting Drake and Kyscu Drake, you can tutor up Viashivan Dragon almost like combining the two creatures in a Voltron or Megazord type scenario. This gets around a lot of counter magic, except for Stifle type effects. It does however open you up to the feel bad moment when your opponent destroys it and 3 for 1s you 😩. All 3 creatures involved are very bad now and were pretty bad 18 years ago. This guy is well loved and falls into the damaged category. It was one of my first gold cards and was pretty much the same condition when I got it. Thinking about the British Library Fantasy exhibition and illustrators who have meant the world to me, caused me to remember these incredible Ian Miller covers for Michael Scott Rohan's "winter of the world" books. Those heaped, mountainous cities in particular absorbed incredible amounts of my time , but he also did splendid monsters and ships and twisted forests, all steeped in inimitable Gothic atmosphere - almost a British Piranesi although unlikely ever to be recognised as such. Miller covers pop up everywhere when you start looking for them. He's in the BL exhibition, with an illustrated edition of one of M John Harrison's Viriconium stories. Recently I had the privilege and absolute honour to be InTouch with the legendary and great Ian Miller, @edwindorf has given me the opportunity to redesign and recreate one of his masterpieces that he did back in the 80's for the tabletop game Warhammer, growing up I was a huge Warhammer fan and collector. @edwindorf his art has inspired my imagination and now I am going to put all of my skills and knowledge into this thing to hopefully be able to do it justice.
