Magyarország EU csatlakozásának 20. évfordulójára készülve az FKF a főváros megbízásából nagytakarítást végzett. Én a Lánchíd és Alagút éjjeli tisztítását fotóztam. Április 24-én szerdán 23:45-kor kilőtték a fényeket a hídon, lezárták mind a hídat, mind az Alagútat, és bementek a gépek. Nagynyomásó vízzel illetve nagy autókkal, tisztítószerrekkel mosták le a sokéves koszt. Az FKF munkásai derekasan küzdöttek, a hideg (kb. 5 fok) és a mindent beborító vízpermet ellenére is. Emellett még arra is volt energiájuk, hogy teljes mellszélességgel segítsék a munkám. Ez a poszt tehát főhajtás és tisztelgés előttük, akik hajnali négyig takarították a Lánchídat (majd egy nappal később, ugyanígy a Szabadság-hidat), amíg mindenki más aludt.
