Skincare. One of the wisdom I have been able to learn working with the @thehseofficial, is their knowledge on skin. They have a lot of webinars about skin and extra learning in the courses they run. First and second batch of homemade dishwasher detergent. The cubes in front are the first attempt that made how the recipes explained. What was not explained is that you need some type of way to tamper the mixture down. The second cubes were tampered down by a square block, which made them compact. Also made powder detergent. HDL (high-density lipoprotein) floats in the middle of the blood vessel and carries excess cholesterol back to the liver. I’ve been looking for a natural deodorant that works, for a long time. I’ve purchased some, and I made some, but without any success. Until now! I actually used this recipe before, but with a different combination of essential oils, and the results were not as great. I came across in one of my studies, that the combination of tea tree, lavender, and geranium, has shown increased antibacterial activity. Since I already had the base of the deodorant made, I heat it up in a double boiler, and added this combination of essential oils. I was so surprised how well the synergy of these oils worked, in eliminating odor! Over the last almost 4 years I have fallen in love with a product. DIY bruisballen Zo als een aantal van jullie wel weten vind ik het heerlijk om te freubelen, het is super leuk om je eigen producten te maken! Vandaag deel ik nog een lekker receptje met jullie, namelijk DIY bruisballen. DIY bruisballen maken kan best wel even oefenen zijn, als je namelijk te veel water toevoegt dan gaat het mengsel al bruisen en dat wil je niet. Maar met dit receptje kan het bijna niet mislukken! Wat heb je nodig? 💜Bruisbal mal ( ik kies altijd voor een klein malletje want zo kan een aantal bruisballen maken) 💙Spray flesje met water 💜Kom 💙Lepel/vork 💜Zeef 💙Bakpapier of een groot bord 💜50 gr Maizena 💙100 gr Citroenzuur 💜100 gr Baking soda 💙1 theelepel draagolie 💜Je favoriete essentiële olie(n) 💙Optioneel: bloemetjes en micapoeder Zeef de droge ingrediënten boven een kom, zorg dat er geen klontjes in het droge mengsel zitten. Voeg de draagolie en essentiële olie(n) toe en roer alles goed door elkaar Spray 1 a 2 sprays over het mengsel, blijf goed door roeren. Is het water opgenomen? Spray weer 1 a 2 sprays op het mengsel Knijp tussen door even in het mengsel, blijft het tegen elkaar aanzitten? Dan is je mengsel klaar Valt het mengsel uit elkaar? Blijf dan nog wat water toevoegen, maar doe dit niet te veel. Neem je mal en vul deze tot aan het randje en de andere helft vul je totdat je er een bergje op hebt. Vervolgens druk je de twee helften hard tegen elkaar aan, verwijder voorzichtig een helft en dan de andere helft, leg je bruisbal op een bakpapiertje of op een bord. Blijf deze stappen herhalen tot dat je mengsel op is. Laat de bruisballen minimaal 12 uur uitharden. Berg de bruisballen op in een droge bak / pot. Neem 1 bruisbal en laat deze zachtjes in je warm bad vallen. Geniet van je me-time momentje! P.s een super leuke kids tip is om deze bruisballen met je kinderen te maken of jij maakt de bruisballen en verstopt er een speelgoed je in, je kinderen zullen super benieuwd zijn of verrast als er een speeltje te voor schijn komt! This is a really helpful list to help you understand and navigate which ingredients to pick for your children and babies. All these ingredients have been used for hundreds of years and are classified as very gentle. Babies & kids are extremely vulnerable to the harmful effects of environmental pollutants and toxic chemicals. Unfortunately, many baby and child care products in the market contain problematic chemicals that aren’t gentle to children’s delicate skin, scalp, and overall health. Natural baby products have been used for generations and generations and along the way they have become mass produced switched to synthetic, manmade toxic ingredients. And no one really questions it. Like anything make sure you patch test and be careful of aggravating any existing skin conditions but all these ingredients are very gentle and are found in most baby products on the market, toxic or not. There is little literature to support that using any of these natural ingredients cause any food allergens or eczema. But as always do your own research into everything. Reasons to use natural ingredients on your kids: - children ages 0 to 15 are more at risk to carcinogenic elements than adults are. - A babies skin is more permeable so they absorb more toxins - Babies skin needs hydration which most products with preservatives and alcohols lack - Natural products reduce eczema & allergies - Toxic chemicals have never been tested on kids for there long term damage Look for products with these ingredients. This is just a base list and there are more but this is a great guide when making your own products or buying products.
