O que achamos👇 Dividido em 2 atos (Justine – Ato 1 e Claire – Ato 2) o filme de direção de Lars Von Trier que também escreve a história é um bom filme mas não para qualquer público. Com atrizes de peso encabeçado pelas ótimas Kisten Dunst (Justine) e Charlotter Gainsbourg (Claire) contando com elenco de apoio de luxo com, com Kiefer Sutherland, John Hurt, Charlott e Rampling, Stellan Skarsgård e Alexander Skarsgård o filme é um pouco arrastado mas, se você sobreviver aos 8 minutos de abertura do filme, tem grandes chances de vir a gostar do restante. A abertura com imagens aparentemente desconexas da realidade, em “slow motion”, e que nos intrigam, por parecerem desconexas, são, os momentos que se sucederão aos acontecimentos que veremos até 2/3 do filme. Lars von Trier é um competente diretor responsável pela “trilogia da depressão” que compõem os filmes: Antichrist (2009), Melancholia (2011) e Nymphomaniac (2013), que foram todos, muito bem recebidos pela critica e público. O filme foi uma indicação de meu amigo, Jeff, do @fantasmastecnologicos que fez uma bela resenha falando dessa obra, singular e criativa. O filme é um drama que no seu 1/3 final se revela no gênero da ficção científica com o advento de uma grande tragédia mundial que se aproxima. Todos personagens são muito bem construídos aliás, é uma competência que o diretor Lars von Trier possui em seus trabalhos cinematográficos. Para quem busca material diferente, longe do trivial e convencional, está ai um boa dica que o Jeff nos deixou na virada do ano, e que fomos conferir e curtimos na integra. “Hold my hand. Close your eyes.” -Melancholia (2011) I believe I’ve mentioned before the movie this still is taken from, as well as the quote, Melancholia from Lars von Trier. I first saw this movie when it came out in BLU-ray and I remember being very moved by it. Well I saw it last December, and I was really surprised by how different it felt. The movie was still great overall, but my state of mind wasn’t. When I first watched it I was on the verge of moving to Norway, and had an exciting future ahead of me. The movie, albeit somber to its core, was met within me with a complete different outlook on the characters. Without going into detail into my private life, a lot has changed since then, and I have grown and learned (I hope so anyway) from all these experiences and become a different version of myself. This gave me a new perspective on both the characters and the movie. And that’s what I feel the movie shows so well - how we can surprise ourselves when put into unthinkable situations that were unplanned. But some things are inevitable, and we (have to) move forward. And by the constants of the world, with the sun rising every morning and setting every evening, we are given a certain stability. So when things get tough, close your eyes and hold my hand.
