So this what happen this morning at 9am when I was at work. I got stung on the forehead multiple times removing poison ivy & poison oak started to had allergic reaction nauseated, a extreme pounding headache, couldn’t keep my eyes opened everything was really bright and felt drunk that was the first time experiencing that never been allergic to bees stings BUT I am now. The hospitals are running on fumes, the country has ordered millions of Supplies but, it's gonna take time,... time, that the frontline workers do not have. So, here we go! It started with my good friends that play pickup hockey with me that have decided to raise $1000 to purchase PPE N95/KN95 masks or PPE Hand Sanitizer, Face Shield for the good people at Michael Garron Hospital in East York, Toronto. We will also be donating to the Head and Neck Clinic / Breast Clinic at Princess Margaret Hospital in loving memory of Erin Arzaga. We are mostly East Enders. Residents of the Beaches, Upper Beaches, and Hunt Club ( and even Royal Orchard in Thornhill). And we want to thank the good people that are at the frontline in our neighbourhood Hospital. Recently there was a call out from @michaelgarronhospital asking for assistance from the public for PPE donations.In addition to needing proper protective medical gear they also put out an 🆘 for a 3D printed component to make a D.I.Y face shield. All of the hospitals are in dire need of PPE to stay protected from #covid19 These shield bands will allow our brave front line responders to create a DIY shield and continue to be protected. We have been printing for days and have a large bag ready for donation. Today also marks my first day out of isolation since having surgery mid month at Michel Garron Hospital which makes going there as my first trip amusing. They helped me be rid of a large oversized fibroid tumour (cantaloupe sized) and l’m returning the kindness in helping them be protected. We all have our part in helping fight covid19.
