Happy 57th anniversary to my Mom & Dad! First of all, can we appreciate what a dish she was? Crepe boatneck dress with the crocheted lace sleeves, hipster glasses before they were cool and looking like a porcelin doll. Dad passed 17 years ago and Mom has dementia, so new memories are a little tricky, but the long term ones are still there. Like how they met at a late night party in St. Paul. In a card room where he asked to take her for breakfast and then took her to church so the date wouldn’t end. Her a working gal who had left the family farm to put herself through secretary school, learn to drive and buy her own car and him, fresh out of the Army and training to be a police officer. He would retire 25 years later as an Acting Captain and Station Commander. They had a lot of great years together. It’s fun to go back and look at the start. #60sbride #momanddad

We did a Luxury Catamaran excursion this day and had the most amazing time. Met so many friendly people from all over. Most of them from Canada 🇨🇦.
