We are so happy to welcome Genevieve, who will be offering kids yoga at Hot on Bank ๐๐โจ๏ธ We are inviting your kiddos to join Genevieve Kueter for a kids' yoga series starting May 11th๐งโโ๏ธ Each week, Zen Gen will take her friends on a journey, maybe to the jungle or in the ocean ๐ฑ Students will learn the benefits of yoga and some breathing techniques to find peace and calm while having fun! ๐ฌ This class will include partner poses and group poses and the occasional obstacle course mixed into the fun. ๐งโโ๏ธ A 4 week series: Saturday, May 11th - June 1st | Suggested age group 5 - 9 yo | 11am - 11:45 am | $14 drop-in or $40 for the entire series Each child will be required to have their own account/liability waiver. Siblings will each need to be registered separately. Bio: Genevieve has been practicing yoga for decades; her true passion for yoga was ignited in the summer of 2017 by a wonderful instructor (Patty Sereno), who actually came and taught a few classes in her backyard! Genevieve has also been working with children throughout her adult life in a variety of capacities. She received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Rhode Island College in 2010. Since that initial class in her backyard, she has put a lot of her personal focus into yoga. Exploring a variety of teaching facilities to experience a variety of teaching methods. As she moved on this journey she discovered a training focused on yoga for kids through Deep Play For Kids. Genevieve completed the certificate program in February of 2018. She found it a trans-formative experience and is forever grateful for the trainers and the friends gained through it. After the training, Zen Gen LLC was formed. Genevieve has continued to increase her yoga training over the years. In March 2019,she attended Karma Kids Teen/Tween Intensive. This was another amazing experience! In 2020, she completed training through Radiant Child Yoga in February, focusing on children with Autism, ADHD and differently able, at Kripalu Yoga for Health in Massachusetts. Cycle and Dinoto got things kicked off Friday night on Rossie 1. Shining at the plate for Dinoto was Gabe Cornell, Jordan Horan and Darius Jones each with 2 hits but it was George Ducci with a big single driving in 2 that sealed things for Dinoto. Ducci also made a great catch in the outfield as well. Cam Bibby pitch 3 great innings and got his first W of the season on the hill. For Cycle Rocco Scala with 3 hits and Lucas Kononchick and Declan Bolduc each drove in a run for Cycle The following morning the softball and baseball teams for Seniors and Majors met on Rossie 2 for our official start to the season. The day continued with team pictures and then the competition began. Up first was Dominoโs verse Chelsea Groton. The purple team jumped out to an early 4-0 lead with Neco Rose And Ricky Humphrey driving in runs.
