"I just want to FEEL better!" ...have you thought that same thought. We get it. We have too. Feeling better takes intention and planning. Creating the space for wellness and health must be part of your daily routine. Make it a priority. Add it to your calendar, make the time because time won't just open up and if it does, we probably won't pick something that promotes well-being. Here are 10 ways to help you feel better: 1. Take a walk or exercise (those endorphins will give you the energy you crave!) 2. Connect with a friend or loved one (connectivity creates happiness 😊) 3. Practice mindfulness or meditation 🧠 4. Get enough sleep (shoot for 7-9 hours a night 😴) 5. Eat healthy, balanced meals (nutrition is everything!) 6. Take a break from technology 7. Do something you enjoy, like a hobby or activity (read, exercise, do puzzles, bake/cook) 8. Volunteer or help someone in need (who doesn't feel better helping someone else?) 9. In our 30s and 40s, we’re so busy trying to prove ourselves in the world. We're trying to work, and we have families, so it's a fulfilling time but self-reported ratings of happiness actually begin to decrease then. Around our late 40’s, something shifts.
