My silage brings all the cows to the paddock. Nothing says feeding time like a quality bale of silage freshly unwrapped and being rolled out by the handy @hustlerequipment bale cart. The cows are still enjoying a good feed of grass before the cold really kicks in, but they do still run to their silage. Walking back to her herd after a few weeks away as one of her calves from 2022 (she had twins that year) decided that the milkbar was available once again when she was put into the herd with her heifer mates🤦 We wanted to make sure that 013 could dry off and wouldn't be feeding her soon to be two year old daughter in the lead up to calving again. This would be a huge drain on her energy so we wanted to make sure her daughter couldn't drink.
