Every one of our clients is unique. Since childhood, this woman in North Texas has been sensitive about the uneven surface of her ears so we created flexible slip over ear prostheses that smoothed the contours and created a more natural looking helix (rim) of each ear. No glue! She can slip these on when needed and they will not fall off. She can wear optional ear jewelry if desired for maximum effect. These types of adhesive-free slip over ears are only possible from a complex mold that has been very carefully designed and executed. #Repost @danmakesstuff with @make_repost ・・・ #weeklywork post is a throwback to 2008. In under two weeks I was on a small crew that threw together these fun demons for a Capital One commercial. I applied this "Boiler Room Demon" on @criminator62. He was an absolute joy to work with and kept us all laughing the whole day. @proutyfx did the "Jeffrey Demon". He blew my mind with the speed and ease that he did make-ups. What a pro, and he's been a great friend ever since. @monstermaniafx with @prenticemargaret did the "Red Devil". They're two top level artists and legends of the make-up effects industry. Mario also sculpted the devil make-up, while @hiroshi_katagiri sculpted the Jeffrey make-up. In the lab, I made the dentures and fingernails for all three characters. I also had to fabricate the silicone tongue you see if you swipe through. This was for a gag where the devil's tongue gets stuck to a metal pole when Hell freezes over. @rob_freitas_ and I did all the lifecasts together, and he was also the lead moldmaker on this one. #weeklywork post is a throwback to 2008. In under two weeks I was on a small crew that threw together these fun demons for a Capital One commercial. I applied this "Boiler Room Demon" on @criminator62. He was an absolute joy to work with and kept us all laughing the whole day. @proutyfx did the "Jeffrey Demon". He blew my mind with the speed and ease that he did make-ups. What a pro, and he's been a great friend ever since. @monstermaniafx with @prenticemargaret did the "Red Devil". They're two top level artists and legends of the make-up effects industry. Mario also sculpted the devil make-up, while @hiroshi_katagiri sculpted the Jeffrey make-up. In the lab, I made the dentures and fingernails for all three characters. I also had to fabricate the silicone tongue you see if you swipe through. This was for a gag where the devil's tongue gets stuck to a metal pole when Hell freezes over. @rob_freitas_ and I did all the lifecasts together, and he was also the lead moldmaker on this one.
