Paint Set #7011 "PSU Ukrainian Flankers" The blue pixel scheme was first applied to several Ukrainian Su-27 Flanker aircraft in 2012 after they were upgraded to 27S1M/P1M and UB1M/UP1M standards at the Zaporizhzhya State Aircraft Repair Plant MiGremont in 2012. This camouflage was then applied to the rest of the Ukrainian Su-27s in service. The pixel scheme has a similar pattern for all Su-27 aircraft, but the shapes of the camouflage patches varied slightly from aircraft to aircraft. The pixel camouflage scheme replaced the Su-27's standard blue camouflage used by the Russians and is rooted in its Soviet heritage. However, the Ukrainians since the late 2000s have used their distinct colors, taken from RAL standards. The blue pixel camouflage of the Su-27 involves using two blue and one gray camouflage colors for the upper surfaces and blue for the lower surfaces of the aircraft. I'm trying to get back into building after a great trip to Edinburgh, so I thought I would try my hand at a little diorama for my display case that will be home to my delorean . You must submit 5 photos and/or a 30-second video of your model, and these images will be used and posted in a video reveal of all entries that I will post on my YouTube channel. To facilitate judging, please use simple backgrounds. Email your entries to [email protected] and I will respond to each email to confirm that your entries have been received. Include information about the model you will be building and, if you want, your social media account. If you do not receive confirmation or have questions, write to me here. I was thinking about how to judge the contest and wanted it to be as fair as possible. I decided to have all entries judged by a local modeling club. These guys have experience judging contests and do not have an IG account, so they will not be biased. I will, of course, participate in the GB, but I will not participate in the contest. I hope to announce the winners around October 31st, but I will keep you updated. As anticipated in the other post regarding this GB, there will be prizes that will be awarded based on the models that participate. I have to decide whether to do first second and third place, or whether to divide them by categories in case there are different types of models. ENG: Currently working on 2 models. First one is SU-33D from Zvezda (1/72) and i wasn´t very comfortable with just black colors on joystick, so, i painted it like cockpit in DCS World. Second one is Mig-21MF from Academy (1/48). It will be another part of my Hogwarts unit, this time its Gryffindor MK2. Both cockpits painted by hand with brush. Used mostly HATAKA colors, Tamyia and Vallejo on some smaller things. CZ: V současnosti stavím dva modely naráz. Ten první je SU-33D od Zvezdy a tím druhým je Mig-21MF od Academy. Exhaust time. A delicate piece which you easily can overdue it, too much staining or too dirty or too dull. I started with polishing the white metal, then some airbrush clear blue and clear purple. Followed by Alclad hot metal sepia and some small areas with AK metal copper. A wash of black for the deep area’s and finishing whit some wet mud wash applied by sponge. So the metal shines just enough trough and some worn out and heated ares’s. In the last post i wrote that i will tell you about the fujimi errors on the #180sx. I made a collage of photos for every flaw of the model car in comparison to the real one and you can see that the they are very noticeable. So let's see them photo by photo 1st photo you see the the difference in the turn signals, so i will fill the 1/3 of the turn signal to make it more realistic. I will have to modify the clear part too 2nd photo you can see the difference in the panel line in comparison with the 1/1. The real side front fender line is far more lower than the bumper one so it has to be re engraved from the the start. 3rd photo the missing Type X rear sputs I have to 3d print it!
