Most of the paint work on the 72nd scale Thunderbolt is finished, as many of you already saw in last week's reel. I have the feeling that I applied just one layer too much to make the shading pop out, but what's new. Maybe it could also be due to the lighting, because in this photo, the shading effect seems visible a bit. I guess I should check it out it in daylight. As I said before, the @gaahleri_airbrush GHAD-39 really worked great in combination with @vallejocolors acrylic paint. Pretty soon, I will use it again for the wheel bays and landing gear. About halfway. A bit of an experiment. Over the initial lacquer earth and green, I applied the whitewash with a thin emulsion of acrylic gouache. This was then sealed with a clear coat and given an overall “Nast” with dark brown enamel wash. That was sealed with another clear coat, then I used oils to make the tones pop a bit more. Этот старенький UH-60A от Italeri в масштабе 1/72 я собирал более двадцати лет назад, когда клеил модельки без окраски. На определённом этапе хобби это, естественно, стало неприемлемо и Blackhawk был списан и утилизирован. Ну а потом заменен тоже италовским, но собранным гораздо лучше и даже покрашенным. Forgotten Blackhawk... Models also have their own life span. And as everything evolves, there comes a time when your old models no longer meet certain requirements. I've this old UH-60A from Italeri in 1/72 scale more than twenty years ago, when I was making models without painting them. At a certain stage in the hobby, this became unacceptable and the Blackhawk was decommissioned and scrapped. Buenas! Momento especial para mí ( aunque ya lo he paseado por las historias), ya que me meto de lleno en un proyecto para concurso. Con la no celebración del Model show/ Concurso de Leganés este año había perdido un poco la motivación para darle a los coches, sin embargo se ha cruzado una oportunidad muy interesante. La semana pasada, en uno de los directos de @paladines_de_terra estuvieron hablando del GT Talavera de 40K y comentaron algo sobre el ceramic_brush, concurso del que tenía alguna idea pero que pensaba que era sólo de miniaturas; la sorpresa fue cuando "bicheando" un poco descubrí que también hay apartado, entre otros muchos, de vehículos civiles lo que me da la oportunidad de volver al lio de low coches y preparar al máximo una entrada. Para este mi debut en el concurso, he elegido un Toyota GR86 de @tamiya_inc_jp escala 1/24 y un transkit de la marca @scale__stars para convertirlo en un GR Pandem, brutal se mire por donde se mire. Acompañado al Bodykit irá una decoración de Apple computer muy "old school" que espero , al menos, no dejé indiferente a nadie...lo de rascar el premio lo dejamos para los jueces.
