If it seems obvious that they have been drugged, they neither know by whom or why. • Rating: 5/5 • Review: The movie is loosely based on a true story, however the adaptation is truly smooth without any exaggeration or pseudo-fantastic entities. In most group dynamics, individuals have the fantasy -and even hidden tendency- of releasing the actual emotions and its reflections (e.g. lust, violence, jealousy), the movie reflects its realization and consequences successfully. The dance choreographies are simply brilliant, especially the first performance is legendary, and also the soundtrack is truly loopable. Also, the “habitat management” of the movie was handled very well, one large place with many sub-areas (one hall as well as corridors and rooms), it seemed compact and also under control by the director in terms of the location-wise continuity. Gaspar Noe'nin izlediğim 2.filmi. Noe'ye neden "Fransa Sinemasının yaramaz çocuğu " dendiğini daha iyi anladım. Gerçekten kendine has ve rahatsız edici bir tarzı var. Climax de en az İrreversible kadar rahatsız edici bir konuyu, rahatsız edici bir şekilde vermiş. Yine bolca hareketli kamera, ters kamera kullanımı var. Zaten filmlerinin başında sara hastası olanlar için nöbete neden olabilecek ses ve görüntüler içerir uyarısı yer alıyor. Film alışılmışın dışında bir şekilde açılıyor. Film sonundaki jenerik filmin başında veriliyor, film başlamadan bitmiş hissi uyandırıyor. Genel olarak baktığımızda filmin ilk 20 dakikası aslında oldukça eğlenceli ve hareketli geçiyor. Neredeyse diyaloğun olmadığı bu sahnelerde toplu olarak yapılan bir dans ama dansın her bir bölümünde en öne çıkan bir karakter var. Bir nevi karakterlerin tanıtımı denebilir. 20-50. dakika arasında karakterler arasındaki ilişkiler yavaş yavaş anlatılırken diyaloglar rahatsız etmeye başlıyor ilk sinyalleri veriyor. Ama 50. dakikadan sonra iyice yoğunlaşan film içinden çıkılmaz hale geliyor ve evet rahatsız edici unsurlar bayağı artmaya başlıyor. Film için söyleyebileceğim şey İrreversible için söylediğim şeyle aynı olacak. Güzel, başarılı bir film. Ama herkesin izleyebileceği bir film değil kesinlikle. * Ölüm sıradışı bir deneyimdir.
