Here are some facts about us. ❤️ I’m from Poland but I’ve been living in Spain for 10 years. I studied journalism and international relations. I spent 6 months in Murcia within Erasmus program. I moved permanently to Barcelona right after my graduation. I am passionate about foreign languages, I worked in marketing for many years and now I am working for Amazon and I help to develop the quality of different marketplaces. I read tones of books and I love everything that’s creative - writing, taking pictures, making and editing videos, dancing, drawing and designing🫶 Edwin is from Venezuela and he has been living in Spain for 12 years. Few months ago he obtained Spanish citizenship so now with two European passports we can finally travel wherever we want 🥳 He is a Web Developer and the most hard-working person I know. When we first arrived in Rome, our plan was to head straight to the Colosseum. However, the allure of this beautiful city with it’s details and winding streets captivated us along the way. By the time we reached the Colosseum 🏟️, we realized that standing in line to buy tickets and exploring everything inside would take more time than we had. So here we are again, today, as I write this post, standing in line with renewed determination and excitement. Experiencing this iconic place is a must and we couldn’t leave Rome without it. Perhaps we could have been more organized, buying tickets in advance to avoid the lines. But that’s just not us. We cherish the freedom and spontaneity of exploring a new city. DAY 116 🇺🇸 Today, we woke up late as we were still jet-lagged. We barely made it to breakfast. After that, we checked out and headed to the airport to pick up our rental car. Then we stopped for a little plane spotting. Then we drove to our new hotel in West Hollywood. Our suite was not ready yet, so we decided to have lunch in the meantime and went to the famous In-N-Out Burger. I have to say, it lives to the hype; the burger was really good. Then we shopped for some essentials and headed back to the hotel. By that time, it was already evening—we still felt the lack of those 3 hours, which is the time difference between Hawaii and LA—so we settled down for the night. //🇭🇺 Ma eléggé későn keltünk az időeltolódás miatt. A reggelit is éppen elértük. Ezután kijelentkeztünk a szállodából, majd elindultunk a reptérre, hogy felvegyük a bérelt autót. Már visszafelé megálltunk egy kis repülőgép lesre is. Elautóztunk az új szállodánkhoz West Hollywoodba. A lakosztályunk azonban még nem volt készen, így úgy döntöttünk, hogy amíg elkészül, addig elmegyünk ebédelni. A híres In-N-Out Burgerbe mentünk, és azt kell, hogy mondjam, nem alaptalan a hírverés körülötte, nagyon finom volt a hamburger. Ezután vásároltunk még néhány szükséges dolgot, majd visszamentünk a szállodába. Ekkorra már este is lett - még mindig érezzük a hiányát annak a 3 órának, ami a hawaii időhöz képest a különbség - így elfoglaltuk a szobát és előkészültünk az alváshoz.

Aberdeen stop at Peterhead (refuel) 12:00 to Banff 20:00 Distance 61.5 NM, Wind speed 0-30 kts, wind direction NW Very pleasant sunny morning with little wind. We stopped at Peaterhead to refuel. Past Freserbrough the wind picked up, as expected but much more than anticipated! We thought of going back but the harbour was too far… we went through the storm. We suspect we had around 25 knts (as our windex was broken). Waves raised up and we were sailing against the wind, making it uncomfortable, and lobster pods were difficult to see. The enter Banff harbour was stressful but we managed to get in. The storm was quite scary, but we all handled it amazingly, Medousa included. We had Indian takeaway for dinner. Next day will be rest. 🇮🇹 Indietro nel tempo... Giorno 11 29/08/2023 Tempesta!! Da Aberdeen stop a Peterhead (rifornimento di carburante) alle 12:00 e arrivo a Banff alle 20:00 Distanza 61,5 NM, velocità del vento 0-30 nodi, direzione del vento NW Mattinata soleggiata molto piacevole con poco vento. Ci siamo fermati a Peeaterhead per fare rifornimento. Dopo Freserbrough il vento si è alzato, ma molto più del previsto! Abbiamo considerato di tornare indietro, ma il porto era troppo lontano... quindi abbiamo deciso di attraersare la tempesta. Sospettiamo di aver avuto circa 25 nodi (poiché il nostro windex era rotto). Le onde si sollevavano e stavamo navigando controvento, rendendo il tutto ancora più scomodo,, e le nasse erano difficili da vedere. L'ingresso nel porto di Banff è stato stressante ma siamo riusciti ad entrare. La tempesta è stata piuttosto spaventosa, ma l'abbiamo gestita tutti in modo grandioso, inclusa Medousa. Per cena abbiamo mangiato indiano da asporto. We should have had the airbags installed day 1. ֎ 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚍𝚊 Oh wat hebben we de afgelopen dagen al genoten! Vooral van het bijtanken, de zon en het heerlijke sfeertje hier bij het hotel. Maar alvast een paar tips die we liever van tevoren hadden geweten ☀️. Onze tips👌 ↬ Het seizoen begint hier pas echt volgende week. Wat betekent dat er nog heel veel dicht zit en je in de dorpjes dus nog best wel wat gezelligheid mist. Vind je dat belangrijk? Ga dan zeker later in het seizoen naar Kreta. Aan de andere kant is het overal heerlijk rustig dus het is maar hoe je het bekijkt ✨️. ↬ Check voor je naar Kreta gaat welke dingen je wilt zien en doen. Wij hadden graag de wandeling door de Samariakloof gedaan maar dat zou ons 2 dagen kosten omdat we aan de andere kant van het eiland zitten. Dat had prima gekunt als we bijvoorbeeld weer in Chania hadden verbleven. Stem hier dus je verblijf op af. Extra tip als je ook de Samariakloof wil lopen; tussen 16 oktober en 1 mei is het park gesloten en mag er dus niet gewandeld worden. ↬Ga op quad safari! Je ziet ontzettend veel van het binnenland en komt op prachtige plekken waar je met een auto niet kunt komen. We vonden het echt fantastisch! Highly recomend 🙌🏻 ↬ Doe een wijn proeverij 🍷! ↬ Ga eten bij IridaChic als je in de buurt bent/ verblijft. We hebben elke avond nog gesmuld van het 5 gangen diner maar ze hebben er ook een heerlijke a la carte kaart. DAY 115 🇺🇸 Today was a full day of travel. We started early, packed our bags, grabbed breakfast, checked out, and headed to the airport. We dropped off our rental car and proceeded to the airport. The process there was smooth since it was a domestic flight. There was a delay. The flight lasted roughly 5 hours, but with the 3-hour time difference between Hawaii and Los Angeles, it was quite late when we arrived. We collected our bags, took the shuttle bus, and went to the hotel. By that time, it was almost midnight, so we grabbed a quick bite and promptly retired to our room. //🇭🇺Ma a teljes nap utazással telt. Korán keltünk, összepakoltunk, megreggeliztünk, kijelentkeztünk, majd elindultunk a reptérre. Leadtuk a bérelt autót, majd átmentünk a terminálra. A reptéren könnyen ment minden, hiszen ez egy belföldi járat volt. Egy kicsit késve indultunk, maga a repülés nagyjából 5 óra volt, de 3 óra időeltolódás is van Hawaii és Los Angeles között, így már késő volt, mire ideértünk. Összeszedtük a bőröndjeinket, felszálltunk a shuttle buszra, és a szállodába mentünk. Ekkorra már majdnem éjfél volt, így csak vettünk egy kis kaját és egyből a szobába siettünk.

Pemerintah Republik Indonesia (RI) resmi mencabut Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan (Permendag) Nomor 36 Tahun 2023 tentang Kebijakan dan Pengaturan Impor yang telah diubah menjadi Permendag No. 3/2024. Keputusan ini merupakan hasil rapat koordinasi terbatas yang digelar di Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian bersama Kemendag, BP2MI, Kemenperin, dan Ditjen Bea Cukai Kemenkeu, pada Selasa (16/4/2024). "Hasil dari ratas ini terkait barang PMI, Permendag 36/2023 itu di-hold, dicabut, kemudian dikembalikan ke Permendag Nomor 25," kata Kepala BP2MI Benny Rhamdani di Kantor Kemenko Perekonomian, Jakarta. Dengan dicabutnya aturan itu, maka tak ada lagi pembatasan barang bawaan dari luar negeri ke Indonesia. Benny mengatakan, khusus untuk PMI, pembatasannya hanya dikembalikan sesuai dengan relaksasi pengenaan bea masuk dan PPN senilai US$ 1.500 per tahun. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 Back in time… Day 10 28/08/2023 (Italian ⬇️) We stayed in Aberdeen with friends!! The day after we saw Aberdeen on a totally different light! The weather was great we showed to our crew our university and flat. Many of our friends came on the boat and we had a lovely sing along and chat. A lovely seal appeared in the harbour just a few meters from Medousa and Arnaldo cooked one of the best meals so far! Our pollock in a wonderful sauce with olives and onions (words cannot describe). We also got part of our cradle on Medousa to transport it to Lossiemouth (our destination). 🇮🇹 Indietro nel tempo... Giorno 10 28/08/2023 Ad Aberdeen con amici!! Il giorno dopo abbiamo visto Aberdeen sotto una luce completamente diversa! Il tempo era fantastico e abbiamo fatto un tour della nostra università e del nostro appartamento all’equipaggio. Molti dei nostri amici ci sono Venuti a trovare sulla barca, abbiamo cantato e chiacchierato tutti insieme. Una foca curiosa è apparsa nel porto a pochi metri da Medousa e Arnaldo ha cucinato uno dei pasti più buoni finora! I nostri merluzzi in una meravigliosa salsa di olive e cipolle, indescrivibile. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 Back in time… Day 9 27/08/2023 (Italian ⬇️) Finally going towards Aberdeen!! Distance 95 NM, Wind speed 10-15 kts, wind direction NW We woke up early to avoid sailing in the dark. There were lots of lobster pods and we really made an effort to keep an eye on them (We don’t want to catch in my propeller!). Sadly we used mainly the engine due to the lack of wind, that also meant an easy sail. Finally arriving in Aberdeen with the lighthouse guiding as it started to get dark. We arrived at around 23:00 hungry and we wondered into the city looking for food between closed shops and pubs. We found one of the worst hamburgers of our lives! But, reaching Aberdeen is the best feeling. 🇮🇹 Indietro nel tempo... Giorno 9 27/08/2023 Finalmente in direzione Aberdeen!! Distanza 95 NM, velocità del vento 10-15 nodi, direzione del vento NW Ci siamo svegliati presto per evitare di navigare con il buio. C'erano molti nasse per le aragoste e per questo ci siamo assicurati di avere sempre una sentinella per evitarle (vogliamo l’elica al sicuro!). Purtroppo abbiamo utilizzato principalmente il motore a causa della mancanza di vento, questo ha anche significato una navigazione rilassata. Finalmente l’arrivo ad Aberdeen, dove il faro ci ha guidato mentre l’oscurità della notte sopraggiungeva. Siamo arrivati affamati come non mai intorno alle 23:00 e abbiamo vagato per la città in cerca di cibo tra negozi chiusi e pub. Siamo riusciti a trovare uno dei peggiori hamburger della nostra vita!
