Dann wurde diese legendäre Strecke -was viele bis heute nicht wissen- von dem Interstates-Highway abgelöst. We stayed three nights in Old Faithful Snow lodge with the fourth night in this cabin attached to the Lodge. We wish we had stayed in the cabin for four nights! The standards in the main Snow Lodge were average. The cabin here was in the nature. Always a good chance of seeing wildlife from the porch. This was taken in the meadows near the visitors centre. Past the Elk grazing. Quick stop for gas at Estes Park before heading off to our sleepy cabin for the next destination. Rocky Mountain National Park is worth the visit. Plenary to see and do in the summer. Away from humans you have a great opportunity to see wildlife. Remember up in the mountains even in the summer it’s cold. Down at Estes Park it’s shorts an T shirt weather.
