I'm attempting a spot of healthy eating, and I've been experimenting with foods I don't often eat, or haven't eaten before. This rather colourful bowl of food was my lunch the other day... Abandoning the usual sandwich, I've been trying salads, adding so-called "superfoods" and additional plants and fibre. Here I had a fairly standard salad with added pea shoots, roasted sweet potato, tahini and yoghurt dressing and a 4 seed mix. But, while I find all of this fairly easy when I'm having breakfast and lunch - which tend to be rather solitary affairs round here - add in 4 other family members (including one who prefers beige, dry foods only) and things become much more difficult.
