Becoming a mother was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It’s cliché I know, but that does not negate the truth. There was a time I felt fearful. A time no one really talks about where you suddenly realize everything has changed. A time nobody could prepare you for. Nothing is as it once was, and nothing is what you thought it would be. I am not fearful to admit this struggle I faced that my life was no longer my own. As a Taurus, the head of the bull came out at the first sight of change and uncomfortability. I look back now and think…what were you so afraid of? For she is the light and wonder of my life. There is nothing I won’t give for her. We begin and end our days together. She watches me.
