Happy Monday. The sun is shining and I’m feeling it! What a difference. If anyone lease like me suffers from SADS it’s been one long grey April! If this is the true start of spring I’m here for it. On a side note shall we talk skincare? I’ve been using @theordinary glyolipid cleanser, new retionol (once a week) and the classic natural moisturising factors cream for nearly a month now. 2 of the 3 are a hit for me. Love the retinol and the moisturiser, and I am not giving up completely on the cleanser yet. Fit at 50. What’s the Secret to being fit and healthy at 50? I was 50 on 2nd November and in the best shape of my life. Something I’m very proud of and grateful for but it I do get a little frustrated with the fitness industry and how we suddenly have a tsunami of health and fitness ‘witch doctors’ complicating the hell out of everything. Since I trained as a PT and nutritional advisor 30 years ago, the core principles have never changed, so there is no secret really but if you get the following right, most of the time, then you’re giving yourself the best chance. 1. Eat a health diet consisting mainly of whole foods. 2. Exercise and move regularly - gym, swim, walk, run … Find something you love that works for you, then just bloody move more. 3. Stay hydrated - Get up, get hydrated and stay hydrated. 4. Avoid stress. Stress is a silent killer. If something is stressing you regularly, just be brave and do something about it. 5. Sleep is nature’s superpower. Prioritise sleep. You must regularly get 7 to 8 hours per night. This is so important for longevity and health. 6. Be kind to others and be grateful for every day you wake up and everything you have. Smile, be happy, enjoy your family and friends and don’t take life too seriously. There is so much hate and envy in the world. You don’t need to add to that. 7. Lastly - almost everything is a choice. How you react to any situation is a choice. How you treat another human is a choice. If you pause for one second before reaching to any situation, you will have time to think and maybe make a better choice! I hope these simple principles resonate with you? Don’t believe everything the ‘witch doctors’ are telling you! Hopefully I can do a similar post when I’m 60 😉💪. Hey hey! Happy now wet rainy Tuesday. It started off well. Typical British autumn. I love a fresh face with a good navy liner. I have been testing out the classic @nivea_uk cream in the blue tin to see how it stacks to some other winter favourites. If you are all about value and no frills packaging, you have dry skin and like a cushion feel to your moisturiser, this is an excellent option! Even as just a night cream it will really cocoon and moisturise your skin in the winter months, and beyond if you are dry like me! Lol! This texture is a go to for me all year round. You need to warm it well into your skin, the massage is also good for circulation. I got mine @bootsuk for £9.99. You can use it on your face, hands and body and it won’t break the bank. Messaging your business is so important. How often have you been to a network group or an event and you’ve asked somebody what they do and half an hour later you still aren’t sure. Can you in one sentence say what you do? Once you have your message or purpose nailed then it is so much easier to write content, do your socials, introduce yourself with confidence. Start by writing 5 words that describe your business then if you can reduce this to 3. Then have a go to write a sentence with those 3 words. If you aren’t happy with it then put it in chatgpt and see what it comes up with? Or Book one of my power hour sessions and we can work on it together.

De totaallook die ik met @kikomilano maakte daarstraks ; ontdekking van de dag is dus de neutrale oogprimer ! Verder gebruikte ik Neutral Beige 03 Create Your Balance foundation waarvan ik ook helemaal weg ben. Zeer licht, verkwikkend en halfmatte finish.
