Congratulations to our THTC dancers who participated in the Connecticut Classic Competition on April 6 and 7!👏 It was a joy to see these talented dancers light up the stage with their technical and artistic excellence. We are so proud! Avery Deorsey's contemporary solo earned her 10th place in the Youth division. Adrianna Cook secured 9th place in the Junior division for her contemporary piece. Veronica Maher soared to 3rd place in the Senior contemporary division, received a bronze medal for her contemporary solo and placed 6th for her Senior Classical variation. All three dancers were a part of the top 10 competitors in their respective divisions! Two of the top 10 contemporary solos were choreographed by our talented student choreographers: Adrianna Cook's "Take Me To Church" and Morgan Soulé's "Float." What is Illuminaciones? Illuminaciones is a weatherproofed light installation inspired by Zebbler Studios’ dual roots in Somerville, MA and Valencia, Spain, and the connection that exists between the wintertime traditions of these two cities. The installation consists of a spiraling tunnel of LED-lit square frames, pixel mapped and programmed to do a series of full color light shows.
