Great weekend with no parks! Ft. Wilderness Lodge is such a nice resort to walk around and explore. Lots of flowers and scenery to take in, 2 pools, shooting geyser, and more. Geyser Point Bar and Grill is right by the water to enjoy food and drinks with a view! Close by is the entertainment area and night time movie spot...at night catch the Electrical Parade! And just like any resort, the pool entertainment and arts and craft team were fun and welcoming! So many mixed emotions today. ❤️ Our 1st day back from vacation. I’m so very grateful for our time spent with family while in Orlando. We saw Maranda & Tom 4 of the 5.5 days we were there. My heart was ℬ𝓊𝓇𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓃ℊ with love & happiness❗️❤️ We had 2 really nice visits with my in laws as well. We made so many sweet memories with each other as well as our families while we were away. We are enjoying our Airstream more & more with each trip. Spending 10 days with my very best friend & love of my life is such a beautiful blessing. I have thanked God many times over the last week. My heart is 🅵🆄🅻🅻❗️ I’m also thrilled to be back home with my pups! ❤️🐾❤️ We missed them like crazy! Getting back to every day life is always so hard. Is it just me❓ Getting back into my groove seems so difficult right now❗️ Where do I even start❓ I’m sad and also feeling very overwhelmed (and I never use that word- I think it’s overused) but I’m really really feeling it today. I miss my daughter. ❤️ I’m going to miss Bruce as he heads back to the office tomorrow. If I could only freeze time.. Our week camping trip at Fort Wilderness has been a family tradition for many years. This trip has been different. This mama has seen a huge shift with my big kids. I remember the endless hours of them running around in the field behind our campsite. Playing with sticks as swords. I miss those days, but I am enjoying my younger 3 still be little. I am embracing my older 3, enjoying different activities, all while watching my 3 littles enjoy the activities their older 3 siblings once did. Childhood flies by. The permit cites a completion date no later then May 2025 though since they will just be pulling out the old ones and pulling in the new ones and "hooking them up" I would expect that completion date to be much sooner... We arrived at Ft Wilderness campgrounds at Disney World 🌍 this afternoon 🎉 Dogs 🐶 are not allowed at Disney Parks (unless you are a service dog 🐕🦺) but we are allowed here at Ft Wilderness 😃 The pawrents rented an RV from @kissimmeeorlandorvrental - swipe left to see videos of it inside and out ❤️ The company drove it here and set it all up for us 👍 Neither the pawrents nor us have ever been in an RV so this is a brand new experience for all of us 🎉 Guess we are glamping! 🤣 We are very happy to be here and we hope to see Chip and Dale maybe 🤔 #ftwilderness #disneyworld #rvlife #glamping #bucrew👻 #floridafabfour
