Sintonize https://fwr.radio/ Computer World capturou a banda bem no momento em que sua abordagem pioneira rompeu totalmente com a música popular, graças ao surgimento do synthpop (na época conhecido como technopop), hip-hop e electro. Enquanto Arthur Baker sampleava Trans-Europe Express para Planet Rock e seguidores como Depeche Mode, The Human League, OMD e Gary Numan obtinham grandes sucessos, Computer World demonstrava que os antigos mestres ainda tinham alguns últimos truques na manga. „King Size Dub“ - Vol. 23 Auf 555 Stück limitierter CD-Sampler mit 16 aktuellen Dub-Tracks. Was gibt es besseres, als in der Gluthitze des Sommers dubbigen Klängen zu lauschen? Reggae, Raggamuffin, alles schön und gut, aber erst Dub lässt mich den Sommer überstehen. Wenn die Temperaturen wieder steigen, werden wieder die Drums im Echohall klingen und ich mache es mir mit einer eiskalten Wassermelone oder einer Caipirinha auf dem schattigen Balkon bequem und chille wieder wie ein Weltmeister. Dub, eine Musikrichtung, wie für heiße Sommertage gemacht, nur so ist der Sommer auszuhalten. In anticipation of their upcoming residency with the LA Philharmonic in May 2024, we have collaborated with iconic electronic pioneers Kraftwerk to release a limited collection of nine skateboards - one for each studio album that will be performed in sequence over nine nights. With each skateboard serving as a canvas for Kraftwerk’s visionary aesthetic, the collection celebrates the band’s enduring legacy and impact on contemporary culture.
