Also known as Climbing Sailor, it has delicate purple or white flowers which provide pollinators with nectar and pollen. Although not a native wildflower, it has been present in the UK for hundreds of years - first recorded in the wild in 1640! How lovely to see this now thriving on our road which was previously sprayed with chemical weedkillers. Motivation vs discipline… We are all motivated at times to make a change, or reach a goal or follow our dreams, but motivation is generally driven by an external influence; a book you read, a speech you listened to, a documentary you watched or a conversation with someone inspiring. When will they stop creating an illusion within an illusion within an illusion to keep us away from truth? Lost beyond recovery, confused to the point of madness? So misled that some were willing to be injected with an experimental injection? When will we stop being guinea pigs in a macabre experiment of total social control? When will we step out of 1984?! That’s when I take a deep breath, I close my eyes, and say to myself: ‘I am not this that they want me to be’ - ‘I am more’ ‘I am not the lab rat in their experiment’ - ‘I am more’ ‘I am not only an organic being’ - ‘I am more’ ‘I am not mortal’ - ‘I am more’ ‘I am not limited’ - ‘I am more’ I am more. We are all so much more than this experience, so much more than this physical presence, so much more than our circumstance, so much more than the labels, so much more than we can even begin to understand. Fearlessness and power come when you finally transcend the illusion of limitation. So I will close my eyes and choose to see the blue sky and the bright sun instead of the chemical veil and I will feel the power in the knowing that we are more.
