April is Autism Awareness Month. I’ve had a lot going on this month and I’m here to share awareness on things. I’ve been on this planet for 30 years and it’s been interesting but also challenging on a daily basis. To briefly explain Autism: Autism is a rainbow pie with each colour shade being an intensity of a particular conditions such as ADHD, Tourette’s, Aspergers Syndrome etc. Some people believe the MMR vaccine caused it but I dunno what to believe because it’s here to stay. I was diagnosed at 6 years old with Aspergers Syndrome which is a form of the Autistic Spectrum. It can feature difficulty in social interaction, learning, speaking and thinking in their own unique way and people with it may have different strengths, challenges and behaviours. My condition is just one of the many different ones from the spectrum. Some people may even be undiagnosed yet which is a bit unfair but if we all find a way to cope then that’s the most important thing. I’m speaking for myself on how challenging everyday is whether I have conflict within myself or when communicating with others. There are days better than others and days when I resent being Neurodivergent in a Neurotypical world or sometimes it’s resenting this NT world for correcting ND people. I try my daily best to be interactive, funny, apply confidence, maybe politely flirt etc. But I also argue inside my head on why I can’t be my true self without corrections on my behavior since everyone else gets to be themselves or voice their opinions and when things become too much I find myself doubting my value. Autism looks different for everyone, and each person with autism has a distinct set of strengths and challenges. According to a 2021 study published in Indian Journal of Pediatrics: The estimated prevalence of Autism in India is around 1 in 68 children. April is Autism Awareness Month! There are 5 types of Autism 2. Asperger’s syndrome was once a stand-alone mental health diagnosis. It is now considered part of the autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Difficulty interacting with others, repetitive behaviors, and strictly following routines are common signs. Asperger’s syndrome, though no longer an official diagnosis, belongs to a group of neurodevelopment conditions known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Experts consider what was previously diagnosed as Asperger’s syndrome to fall on the mild end of the autism spectrum. Now you might also notice this is called level 1 ASD. The main signs of Asperger’s include: 1. having difficulty with social interaction 2. engaging in repetitive behavior 3. standing firm on opinions and beliefs 4. focusing on rules and routines Many people with Asperger’s Syndrome may need very little day-to-day support, and they may not get a diagnosis until later in life. #autismawareness #aspergerssyndrome

I learnt that continuously having excuses to not step out my comfort zones in life is a fast and sure way to create a low tolerance to stress and counterproductive to having a tolerance to stressful aspects of life. Le voilà, le lieu surprise et incontournable d'Aquitaine, où je fais un concert pluriel ce mercredi 24 avril, l'Aéroport de Bordeaux-Mérignac. C'est pour sensibiliser à l'autisme dans un contexte assez anxiogènee et agoraphobique, qu'un personnage d' Orphée avec sa lyre aurait peut-être considéré comme un biotope "inspirant" malgré l'enfer de l'indifférence collective, que j'ai proposé cela au directoire de cet espace de la commune où j'habite. Cet espace provoque en moi une attraction particulière et un pouvoir de fascination depuis déjà quelques temps, malgré qu'il ne soit pas toujours adapté à la vulnérabilité de personnes porteuses de difficultés du spectre de l'autisme : c'est pourquoi j'y ai proposé qu'il y ait, au moins provisoirement, un piano, comme un parachute. I read an online article about Asperger's syndrome written by a woman with Asperger's syndrome. and I became worried that I might have Asperger's syndrome. So I borrowed books about it from the library. Then, I think that I probably don't have Asperger's syndrome. But, I think that I have prosopagnosia and hyperacusis and a slight learning disability maybe. 前にアスペルガー症候群の女の人が書いたアスペルガー症候群に関する記事をネットで読んで 自分と重なる事が多かったんで 『もしかして…？』と不安になり 図書館でアスペルガーに関する本を何冊か借りてきた📚 で、それを読んで結論 たぶん私はアスペルガー症候群ではない…と思う （本に付いてた簡易診断テストみたいなんやってみても、点数が基準の点数まで全然たりんかった） まあ専門家に診てもらったわけじゃないから断言は出来ひんけどね🙄 ただ、 "相貌失認（そうぼうしつにん）" と "聴覚過敏症" ってのはあるかもしれん あと、特定の分野（とくに数字関連）での学習障害 昔から、人の顔と名前がほんまに覚えられへん 頻繁に会うようになれば覚えれるけど それでも、 ちょっと髪型やメイク、服装とかが変わると途端に判らんようになってもたり 覚えても会わんようになれば またすぐ忘れてまう 他人の顔の識別をするのが難しいねん みんな同じに見えてもて見分けるのが難しい とくに日本人や韓国人は 一つのものが流行ると、みんなが同じ髪型、同じメイク、同じ服装になるやん？ だから余計にみんな同じに見えて、誰が誰か判らへん それぞれ顔立ちが同じじゃないのは比較すれば判るんやけど 同じ部類に脳の中で大雑把にカテゴライズされてまうから見分けがつかへん感じ もののけ姫に出てくるコダマっておるやん？ あれ、一つ一つ形は微妙に違うのは判るけど、 それぞれ どれが誰っていう見分けはつかんやん？ あんな感じ だから私は大体 "声" で人を覚えてることが多い 顔では絶対に覚えられへんから あとは聴覚過敏 とくに寝る時は過敏状態で 私は部屋 真っ暗にして完全に静かじゃないと寝られへんねんけど 隣の部屋で誰かが携帯で喋ってたりしたら その電話口の相手の声まで聞こえる そういう細かい音でも耳に入ってきてもて それにイライラして寝られへん 漏れ聞こえてくるテレビの音とか だから実家でまだ人が何人か住んでた時は 何十年と不眠状態でマトモに夜寝れたことなかった（だから常に心身ともに不安定で体調崩しやすかった） 東京でシェアハウスに住んでた時もそうやったけど 私は夜静かに寝られへん呪いにでもかかってんのか？ あと学習障害に関しては 子供の頃から時間とか距離とか重さとか そういう数字にまつわる事の感覚が欠落してて よく判らん まあ、自分の脳に生まれつきの障害みたいなんがあるんかは判らんけど、 そういう状態に名前があるのが判っただけでもちょっとモヤモヤが晴れた 一回、病院で診てもらおうかな #AspergersSyndrome #Prosopagnosia #Hyperacusis #LearningDisability #アスペルガー症候群 #相貌失認 #聴覚過敏症 #学習障害

🔴 How time flies, aaagh it was the article that attracted the nation! Hard to believe already 10yrs ago! In celebrating 15yrs of Time 2 Train, I have certainly experienced quite a lot! In my earlier years I was definitely consumed by the autism community, looking back I probably would've been seen as a the original "Greta" activist!🤣 But I can safely say my story has always been that spark of hope! That story which for many "autistics" find and will always find controversial. Breaking free from autism! It's not a popular thing to hear or understand. But thank goodness for science and in particular neuroscience and the beautiful world of neuroplasticity!!! If we just drop all the labels and dogma attached and just remember that we are capable of much more! My career to help others experience what I discovered and experienced is valuable to those who may want something different. Turning a life of learning into a way that can help others to live with great "wholesome" awareness. Recently it was National Pet Day, I donated blood again with Vitalant, I found myself back in Sacramento for a day reliving where I once lived, finally got a selfie with the Lady Bird mural, ran into an old friend and regular from Target, had great grub at Thee Upper Crust Pizza and Mojo’s Local Tap and Kitchen, and saw the tour of Annie. A very enjoyable club ride today. First ride over 30 miles this year so didn’t push too hard so managed to stay predominantly in zone 3 and max zone 4 in the head winds. Going to tighten up the body and increase cardio over summer and slightly reduce weights. Great ride and bring on more. "שיר הפרוטקציה" התחיל כשיר תשובה מאולתר שנכתב לכבוד מה שנקרא "חברים מזויפים" שהתחילו לשלוח לי הודעות התנצלות (וחלק קטן גם כתבו לי כל מני תירוצים שלא בלעתי) על זה שכביכול הבטיחו שיבואו אבל בסוף לא באו להופעה האקוסטית שלי בלינקולן בנובמבר 2022 (חצי שנה בערך לפני צאת האלבום הראשון) להופעה בפועל הגיעו רק שישה אנשים.. (נשמות טובות שאתם !!!) ניסיתי כל שביכולתי להסתיר את התחושה הלא נעימה הזו של הסכין בגב שקיבלתי מהם וכשצילמתי את עצמי שר את השיר הזה בוידאו מאולתר אז באתי בעצם לצאת בהצהרה שמוטי המדוכדך כבר לא כאן ושהקטע הזה של "חברים רק בשביל הנחות עובד" נגמר... הרגשתי שכאילו התפטרתי מכמה אבנים בלב כשחשפתי בפני כולם את "האמת הכואבת.." בדיוק שחשבתי שהכל נגמר כאן, מתקשר אלי ישי ברגר ואומר לי שיש לו הופעה באוזן-בר ושהוא רוצה להעלות אותי ולחשוף אותי לקהל שלו ברגע האחרון.. אחרי ההופעה כולם אמרו לי פה אחד "כמו שהוא נשמע, ככה תקליט אותו!!!" אחד הדברים החשובים לו היה לבצע את "שיר הפרוטקציה" בין שיר התקליטים לבין "פה זה לא תל אביב" הוא לא ויתר לי על זה !! בשבילי זה היה אתגר... פחדתי שלא אצליח לשיר את השיר הזה במדויק..... לכל מקרה הדף היה מולי... אבל הצלחתי!!!! כאן הבנתי שאני במקום הנכון ובעצם מדהים שלמעשה השיר המאולתר הזה הוא זה שהיה אחראי להביא אותי למקפצה הזאת.... אחרי הביצוע של השיר הזה ואחרי שאמרו לי "מוטי אתה בפנים" אפשר לומר שזאת לא הייתה טעות..!!!! עדיין מבקשים ממני הופעות למזלי אבל זה קשה בלי להקה למרות שגם לבד אני יכול להחזיק אחלה הופעות אבל אני חייב דיסטורשנים... חייב את הבאסים ואת הקיקים!!!! בינתיים... כמו בשיר : רוצים מופע ? פשוט מאוד ! רק תגידו ותזמינו והכל יהיה נפלא !! הקו פתוח לכל הזמנה והצעה !! מצ"ב תמונה מרגע ההצלחה הראשון שלי באוזן-בר!! השיר בתגובות !!! אוי אוי אוי!!! . . #autism #autismawareness #autistic #autisticman #aspergers #aspergerssyndrome #autisticpride #autisticmusician #autisticmusicians #music #musicians #guitarists #punk #punkrock #punkboy #punkkid #punksnotdead #equality #equal #peace #love #acceptme #follow #followme #rock #truefriend #freelove

All my life I'm called different or odd by work colleagues when I was working and even by family members. I rarely mask and have gone past the stage of finding the comments an insult. I learnt years ago that in a world of people who don't think like me being odd is a compliment. I don't wish to be like the majority.
