I recently rewatched this and I had forgotten how involved with conspiracy it is. I also forgot how confusing it is but remembered halfway through what happened. This is a crime-drama mystery-thriller style movie but it definitely is sad as well. I can see a lot of religious metaphorical messages in this. It’s definitely not centered around religion but the references are there. I find this story to be quite compelling and curious. In the end you could easily be asking questions or feeling like they’d been answered. I love this film though and I’d recommend to anyone, but be prepared for a some tragic content as the title might suggest is my one warning. Rami Malek is great here, and this is a satisfying psychological film that viewers can probably interpret multiple ways. 👍

Damn, that kinda sucked. It had potential- if they made more sense of the nonsense that they sprinkled throughout the plot. Its listed under “mystery” for its genre, but the writing was on the wall the entire time- SO predictable! It left me wondering, “am I the stupid one?
