We are also introduced to some new ones such as Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) and Kah Mun Rah (Hank Azaria). Both of these characters were nice additions to the eccentric cast of wax figurines from the Battle of the Smithsonian’s predecessor.I really liked the role of @amyadams 😍. It's enjoyable for sure, but I feel the first movie had more substance, and as a whole, I did prefer the first. It's a little impressive that they went perhaps a little over-the-top with the comedy, and still made it a lot of fun. The characters we love, mixed with a new ridiculous assortment of new characters is both hilariously bad, but just brilliant. If you just want a lighthearted movie to put on in the background or something for a lazy afternoon, then this movie is perfect for just that! Spring Break 2023 Appalachian and American-capital Adventures, Day 2: evening in Luray “You can tell I didn’t plan the trip when we have reservations for dinner,” Tyler while shaving on Day 2. Our Airbnb hosts had recommended a new restaurant in town, so we put on some nice-ish clothes - some of us matching - and drove the three minutes to Main Street. (We had walked earlier but once the sun goes down that’s less than enjoyable) Watch and Warrant had a very cool vibe and decor, and the food was delicious! Score: 7.3/10 Stand out: Bill Hader & Amy Adams & Hank Azaria Night at the Museum 2 is a great sequel as it lives up to the quality of the first movie, but also ended up being more fun as it didn't need to take time explaining how everything works. Larry is no longer a security guard but he finds out that some of the exhibits are being moved to the Smithsonian, without the tablet that brings them to life. However, the monkey steals the tablet which brings to life an Egyptian prince who will kill them all to get the tablet, so Larry has to go to the Smithsonian to save them. This brings back a lot of the characters from the first movie, although some are pushed to the side for new faces. Robin Williams is barely in this, which is a shame since he was the funniest part of the first movie; also, Rami Malek is hardly in it, and it would have been great to see more of him. The cast in this movie is amazing. So many great actors have cameos and it is fun to see all of them pop up every so often. It also added Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart, who is absolutely stunning as she brings so much energy to the role and shows why Earhart is such an icon. Bill Hader appears as General Custer, and he is hilarious. Then there's Hank Azaria who excels at playing three different characters with it being nearly impossible to tell that he is all three. Night at the Museum 2 has some great jokes as it embraces how wacky it is. It mostly takes place in the course of one night, which allows for some chaotic action, especially with the bigger location to work with. Not all the jokes land, but the ones that do are hilarious, and this is just a great bit of fun.
