For once nothing bad happened, as usual.. Do you recognize these thoughts? It's so easy to categorize everything in black and white - good and bad. But life is more than two poles - positive and negative. I used to throw away a whole day, just because one small thing happened, that looked like if it spoiled the whole day. I used to think, that a whole day only had to be positive, so I would think good about it. But the truth is, life happens on a spectrum and nothing is only good or only bad. Things happen for a reason. Things happen to make us learn, grow and thrive. One bad experience in a day can't spoil the 10 good things in a day - if we don't allow it to. In total - I am living a good life. What happened to me doesn't define me now or my future. I am not the outcome of a bad past. I am what I think I am. Emotions come and go, if we let them. Living is an active process of how we deal with circumstances, events or emotions. We are in control of our present and the future. We can change our way of thinking about the past. So maybe, instead of experiencing a day and thinking, oh I can toss that day, it didn't turn out as I wanted, think about what it taught you and try seeing everything as an opportunity. Life is good. It is what we make out of it. - 𝐹𝑒𝒶𝓇 - I took these pictures in September 2022. More than 1,5 years have passed. Since then many things have changed in my life: - I left an unhealthy relationship. - I quit my masters study program. - I tried different online jobs until I ended up where I want to be. - I built a healthier relationship with myself. But that's not even the topic here. Back then I had many limiting beliefs based on fear and I didn't even know it. Something always kept holding me back and only now I found out, that all these fears are sitting inside of me, comfortably, waiting to be fed everyday. With every minute of procrastination, with every self-doubt and inaction, I fed them and made them grow. Not seeing, that their thorns are harming me. And I can't even blame anyone for it, since I have been doing it myself, right? What if we shifted our mindset: what if EVERYTHING in our lives existed, to make us thrive? Read that again: What if everything in our lives... existed to make us thrive? Well what could we ever be afraid of then? Being afraid of rejection? How, if it's not us being rejected but the opposite not able to see our value? Afraid of failure? How can we fail, if the universe gives us situations where we can thrive? Isn't it then either learning or winning? What if.. everything goes right? What if everything works out just fine and we reach our goals? What if everything was always meant to be like this? Fear is basically the lack of knowledge. If you understand something deeply, you can not be afraid. Because uncertainty is what fears us. Happy earth day 🌎🌱 Istarted travelling in 2010, when I first went to London with a group of people. Now it’s 2024 and within 14 years I travelled to 23 different countries. but 3 of these years I have spent abroad by now. I have always been dreaming of travelling as much as possible, visiting new places, meeting new people. But in the past few weeks I have learned that I prefer to travel slow. Instead of rushing from A to B, I want to move to a country, explore as long as I want and then leave to the next country. One-way tickets and 2 suitcases, to go wherever I want. Never having to think that I need to get back. No job, no responsibilities waiting for me. At least not at some certain place. That’s why it has been clear to me for several years now that I want to work online. And after spending years on finding the right thing for me, learning new skills and meeting new people, I finally ended up where I wanted to be. I can’t wait to turn my life into this dream of constant exploring and travelling. They live the perfect blueprint life: getting a good degree in a good university, buying a house, getting children, having their life figured out. And me?
