A complete Guest Relations cast member uniform from Walt Disney World. Guest Relations cast members, better known as “Plaids” due to their distinctive plaid outfits, are the Disney Parks’ customer service experts who act as ambassadors, hosts, tour guides, and concierges. Plaids can often be found leading VIP tours, seasonal tours, populating service desks, and providing customer service at places like City Hall, Lost & Found, and Guest Services. This woman’s Guest Relations uniform is the lightweight summer version; it used to be worn by cast members working at outdoor locations at the parks during the warmer months, but due to the weather of both Florida and California, Plaids can choose to wear it any time now. It consists of a white dress shirt with Disney “D” buttons and the distinctive plaid pattern built in as trim and a blue skirt, both with the original Disney tags. The skirt also has “EPCOT” hand-written in the waistband to designate its place of use. It is finished with an original WDW Guest Relations pin. I just had my first VIP tour clients @waltdisneyworld and they loved it. I call in this reservation for you and we decide your must dos for the day. You can go to all the parks and hit the highlights or focus on all the things at a few parks. You can also end the night at the fireworks vip viewing area of your choice. Now all magic comes with a price and a tour will start at about $425 an hour. The pricing can go up to $1000 per hour. This is for a group of up to 10 people. DREAM DAAAAAYYY. I literally woke up this morning and wondered if it had all ACTUALLY happened 🤯🫠🤩 because it was the most incredible Disney experience we’ve ever had. Meet Jimmy. The very best Plaid VIP Tour Guide in all of Disney. He’s been with Disney for 19 years and doing Plaid VIP Tours for the last 7 years. We all agreed that he has the best job in the entire company. We park hopped to 3 different parks: Hollywood Studios Epcot Magic Kingdom and rode 17 rides. It took us 4 MINUTES to park hop 🤯. We went through back stage private Cast Member Only exits where we weren’t allowed to film, were greeted by 3 other VIP staff with rows of black luxury vehicles, holding baskets of snacks and arms and smiles to help us in and out of the private Disney transportation, and then were driven to our next location where we were greeted with the same entourage. We would literally go from the back stage exit of one ride, and walk into the back stage entrance of another. “GET SHOW READY JIMMY! GET SHOW READY!!!” IT WAS INSANE 🤩🤯. Jimmy showed us all of the hidden Mickey’s (and Oswald’s—watch my videos to find out about him) around the park, including one you can only find from the sky, bought us waters, sodas, lemonades, Powerades, and ice cream Mickey heads all day long. The kids had power walking races all over the park with him, and on one ride Dean was too afraid to go on, so one of the Disney staff walked Dean out to Jimmy, we got on the ride, and met Jimmy and Dean at the end of the ride. If my Delta Diamond 💎 ✈️ Status only does one thing for me this year, it will be getting this giant sized Stitch on as a carry on home at the end of this trip 🤣. I let her get it because YOLO. Rest days are ESSENTIAL for Disney World, and the last time we came, we only scheduled one with five park days. This time we scheduled in a rest day TWICE for five park days, and I can already tell this is the way to do it. There’s just something about being able to sleep in, lounge around and do whatever you want, and rest those feet and ankles 😆😜. Tomorrow: THE PLAID VIP DAY 🫠🤤. While in Walt Disney World, I'm very fortunate to join in on a VIP tour with my fellow Dream Builders!!! We will begin our day in Animal Kingdom park and move through all four parks, ending in Magic Kingdom, where will be invited to sit in a private viewing area for the fireworks. It seriously sounds like the perfect day! I love being treated like a VIP. 🥰 I've been on a one VIP tour before at Disneyland and it was amazing. I love asking the guides all sorts of questions about the history of the parks, how they function, and other random questions I think about while walking around. I got invited on a Disneyland VIP tour once and it spoiled me for life. (You can spy Rex & I on the left of the group.) These tours are customizable for a minimum of 7hrs to a max of 10 and they start at a whopping $3500. 😳 But you will leave the park feeling like true Disney royalty at the end of the day.
