"Much Ado About Nothing"- M.Giglio it’s not as if something could ever last, eventually, all abundance whittles itself back down to dust; like some abandoned train tracks in a ghost town that was once a hub for prosperity in the mid-west... like trace elements outlined with a pen on some spiral notebook paper; “it could've been..” the DNA present from some Jesus incarnate: waxing poetic and preaching redemption- dressed like a rabbit __________with an eating disorder… . Is this normal? to sit here for hours on end and compose such gibberish- with no literary intent praying to some anorexic hare; somewhere, that maybe someone might actually care to read this. But then again...why not? Writing has no real rules. It’s the wild west wrapped in Al Capone's breast pocket, awaiting some devil to snatch it for his brow ___and replace it with your empty soul. It’s like drowning and coming back to life! Only to get a second opinion and deciding to die again and again.. . For what could be sweeter than to walk away from Life on life’s terms. "Home"-M.Giglio ( #happyearthday ) . There is this place that I call home, beyond the many stars unknown near the center of a galaxy- That bless'ed spiral of all necessity. In orbit rolling 'round a star shining ever brightly from afar; On a land mass made of molten crust I was first conceived from out that dust- and upon that birth, did I discover The wondrous creations of another! For in this place, that I call home, birds and rats run free to roam. The moon plays fiddler to the tides as sun bleached evenings paint the skies. While waters flow from streams aplenty and the fish to count, are far too many... mountains caress long sunken shores- as geyser's burst from open sores: children roam 'cross open fields and vulture's prey on hopeless meals- our forests recycle oxygen; So that cycle can begin again... and at times I sit back- awe inspired at the beauty of a roaring fire, Or the harmony of the human spirit with the artist that so did endear it.
