Il giovane D'Artagnan giunge nella Parigi del 1627, con l'intento di diventare un moschettiere. Lo attendono amicizie, pericoli, amore ed intrighi. Il capolavoro di Alexandre Dumas trova una nuova, triste trasposizione filmica ne "I tre moschettieri - D'Artagnan". Triste perchè di questa prima parte del 2023, diretta da Martin Bourboulon, si salva davvero poco. Il film, a parte qualche momento o dettaglio, si prende innumerevoli libertà rispetto all'opera principale. Se l'avrete letta, non esiterete a dire che gli sceneggiatori si siano inventati di sana pianta la maggior parte degli eventi e li abbiano completamente stravolti. Il cast è abbastanza convincente, specialmente Eva Green nei panni di Milady, ma i personaggi in generale risultano appena accennati. E non è finita perchè anche i pochi momenti più concitati, in verità, sono girati male e montati ancora peggio. Alcuni momenti, poi, lasciano letteralmente basiti. La messa in scena può dirsi valida ma, nel complesso, "I tre moschettieri - D'Artagnan" si rivela una completa delusione. Dargli la sufficienza è davvero difficile, specialmente se si conosce bene il capolavoro di Dumas. Trovate il film per l'Home Video in Dvd e Blu Ray. I protagonisti scoprono il sesso e lo vivono come parte fondamentale del loro rapporto fondato sull’arte. Review: “The Three Musketeers - Part II: Milady.” As satisfying as it can be to view one whole story when you sit down to enjoy a film, there are exceptions where a second (or more) is needed to really make it satiating. Especially when it comes to adaptations, there’s a big difference between milking a story from one film into two or three and creating the “just right” mixture to make each film as enjoyable as the last. Having been adapted time and again as one film, director Martin Bourboulon (“Eiffel”) opted to split author Alexandre Dumas’s “The Three Musketeers” into two portions, thereby enabling audiences to not only get the swashbuckling action depicted in the tale, but also a proper sense of the characters and the intrigue within the narrative. After making a splash in the U.S. back in December 2023 with “Part I: D’Artagnan,” Bourboulon’s second half, “Milady,” is set to arrive to close the story on Dumas’s heroic Musketeers. Matthew, een Amerikaanse student, ontmoet de tweeling Théo en Isabelle tijdens de protesten van mei '68 in Parijs. Zij zijn ook allebei student en opgewonden door wat er op straat gebeurt, maar nog meer door de films die ze zien in de Cinémathèque Française.
