Lately, life.has.been.hard! I got sick, like really sick and I felt alone. It's not something I would wish on anyone. Those are two hard places to be and especially at the same time. I actually still don't feel completely back to normal just yet. BUT... I had Jesus and more importantly He had me!!!!!!! He never left my side and He never abandoned me. In my fuzzy frame of mind, it may have seemed as though no one was there but there were definitely specific times that He made a point to comfort me. Comfort in the way that only He can! I thought of my scripture and I proclaimed it. I'm sure, I should have done it more often but it calmed me down at some heavy, low points. It's a simple one because my brain wasn't cooperating most of the day and night. God did not allow me to give up. A firm foundation is soooo important. If I hadn't had a lot planted within me, I know I wouldn't have had anything to draw from during this time. It's always important to prepare in advance. Know some scripture!!! Sometimes you seriously aren't able to grab your phone or your Bible. Be ready for those moments! Things are currently getting better and I give Him ALL the praise!
