K'gari, the largest sand island in the world We left early this morning and drove to Rainbow Beach to meet our day tour. You need 4WD to drive on the island which is just a 15 minute ferry ride away. If not, get ready for another island gem!🏝️ Located about an hour outside of Brisbane, you’ll find this pristine sand island and the best thing is, Bribie Island has a bridge to the mainland and you don’t even need to pay a toll. Which makes it the only Australian bridge to an island without a toll. 😂👌 The “main attraction” is probably driving along the islands endless beach, but it’s necessary to have a 4-wheel-drive 🛻 and get an official license.
