Energetically I feel like there’s a big shift happening. Another wave of awakening. Another layer of shedding. And to be honest, I think we’re going to continue facing these big shifts. Because the energy of the world we live in is shifting. These shifts can feel uncomfortable. They can feel like you’re being pulled up out of the ground and placed into a new place. Hi I’m Shylo 🌞 I have been a service provider for the past 10 years. But truth be told, I know I have lived many lives in this role. 🌱 My training began in 2013 when I enrolled in skin care school. My school was based in Ayurvedic teachings and beliefs. This is where I first learned about the healing power of touch. 🌿 Connecting 1:1 with my clients is one of my favorite things. When you’re on my table you are here to rest and recharge on the deepest level possible. 🪶 Over the years I began my conscious healing journey and started taking the steps that led me back to my Soul. 🦋 My journey brought me a deeper understanding of myself and why I was the way I was. I began to shed programmed thoughts and behaviors that were no longer serving the woman I was becoming. ✨ It was a hard process. At times, straight up heartbreaking. But I continued to trek down this path that my Soul was guiding me on. I continued to follow the Light. 🧚🏼♂️ This is where I began to feel the call that I am meant to help others on their healing journey. 🌈 I fell in love with the results I personally received from Reiki and began my studies in Energy Healing. I fell in love with the connection Yoga brought me to my body and I began my yoga teacher training. I fell in love with the emotional healing provided by working with pure essential oils and intention and l began my training in emotional release. 🌬️ I started to build a resume of offerings based on what helped me heal. And I continue to learn and devote myself to being a student of this work. 🪬 This October I’m starting my Cranial Unwinding certification and learning Gendali Reiki. 🧿 Healing is hard, we don’t have to do it alone. So I could’ve done without the “𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘐 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘢” (maybe I was trying subconsciously to recreate the ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ bike accident scene😆)? I was on a narrow & slippery path, and my front tire caught some wet muddy grass and I went down hard. If you imagine gripping your toes in one hand and your heel with the other and twisting like wringing out a sponge, that’s what happened to my foot, breaking a bone on the top of my left foot. That’s why I ended up finishing the ride as a passenger on the back of a 🛵 here. Not an ideal part of a vacation, but it did give me a reason to experience a traditional Balinese healing remedy on the bruises on my upper legs. They were the biggest, black n’ bluest, and most swollen bruises I’ve ever had in my life. The Balinese use an herbal paste made mostly of ginger, rice, nutmeg, clove & coconut oil and I can attest that almost immediately after sitting with the paste on the wounds for an hour, the color of the bruises changed noticeably to the yellow & green hues indicating healing, and they were almost gone two days later.🌱🥥 Alternative healing practices are a great complement to western medicine ⚕️ . Fresh energy & new beginnings; happy Monday! 🪴 I’m Karen Clark. I have been a yoga teacher for 7 years, but I didn’t take my first yoga class until about age 40. Almost a year ago I moved to Arizona (via NH >CA>AZ) and have been studying & training in energy healing work since then. I was born in western Canada and lived there until my early 30’s - I prefer desert heat to the long Canadian winters! I’m a Capricorn earth sign, and definitely prefer to be firmly planted on the ground than in the water. 🐐 In 2018 I divorced and had a big awakening, emotionally and spiritually. I wrote a book about my ‘phoenix process’ called “Soul Fire, A Guide for Getting to Know Yourself and Living Your Happiest Life”, which I’m very proud of, available on Amazon. I worked in interior design, HR and even did a brief stint as a flight attendant in the past. One of the highlights of Bali for me was this sacred water purification at the temple of Pura Tirta Empul. In this Hindu ritual you move through each spout of fresh spring water, first praying for what you wish your soul to be purified from, then cleansing your face 3 times before immersing your head 3 times. Is manifestation all BS? 🤔 As much as I believe that the vibration of our energy field attracts ‘like’ energy, there are things I wanted that seemed to never find their way to me. Big things. Things that I added to my vision board and made space for in my life (or so I thought). I was getting more & more frustrated with the universe when it didn’t deliver. Tbh, I was really skeptical about the whole concept of manifestation. We all have a self-saboteur inside of us who likes to f*ck with us once in a while, letting us make excuses and justify attachments to things we need to let go of (one of the Buddha’s biggest lessons). It turns out I had a couple of boulders still in my path that I had to clear, and at an “inner self” workshop on April 1 I became very clear on what my self-sabotaging habits were and made a clear decision to stop it then & there. ✋🏼 The universe HEARD me. It recorded my change in behavior and my commitment to myself. Now, just 6 weeks later, I can hardly keep up with the massive changes (amazing ones) that have arrived for me. The floodgates have been opened. Manifestation isn’t something that can be measured or proven scientifically, but I do have a reference point for just how much things can find their way to us if we cut the BS and get out of our own way. 🙏🏻Thanks universe, keep it coming.
