Tonight's Viewing: "Stuart Little". Based On "Charlotte's Web" (1952) Author E.B. White's 1945 Book Of The Same Name, Though Very Loosely, This Is Another 1 Of The Most "90s" Movies I've Seen! From The Director Of Both Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" (2003) & Disney's "The Lion King" (1994), Rob Minkoff, & With A Script Co-Written By, Of ALL People, M. Night Shyamalan, This Film Takes White's Odd & Bizzare Tale & Turns It Into A Typical Run-Of-The-Mill Family Film. Now Alongside The Fact That This Film Has The Cheesiness Of The '90s From Head To Toe, The Experience May Come Across As Generic, Bland, Forgettable, Etc. Not To Mention That There Are Some Elements That'll Poke Holes In The Story, Especially With The Animals' Point Of View, & With A Shyamalan Twist Sprinkled On Top *what a twist!*. But I Still Think This Film Isn't Offensive, I Mean There Is A Major Lack Of Similarities From E.B. White's Book But As Is This Film Is Bizarre Enough To Be Tolerable. It Doesn't Have THAT Many Harmful Clichés. Some Other Moments In This Movie Are Actually Badly Funny Or Weirdly Enjoyable, & The Animation Used To Make The Facial Expressions On Stuart (Voiced By Michael J. Fox) Are Awesome & Cute. But Mostly, It All Doesn't Get To A Point Where It Actually Gets Offensive. So Unimaginative & Generic This Filmed Adaptation Is, 1999's "Stuart Little" Is Just An Innocent Guilty Pleasure For Me. I figured it was about time I get back on my "Looney Tunes" movies watching marathon! This is the third "Looney Tunes" compilation film and just like the previous film features brand new animation sequences bridging each shorts throughout the film! Ever since I watched the previous film, "Bugs Bunny: Superstar" I’ve been craving more "Looney Tunes" movies too watch and decided to see what the next entry would be in this series of compilation films and this was it! I enjoyed the first movie a lot so will be curious to see how this film is too. This second film is when they started created new pieces of animation throughout the film to interconnect it with all the classic segments. Well, if I wasn't a serious fan of industrial records before this -- I have a few -- I think I may become one after finding this odd little gem last weekend in Monterey (for about 2 bux). While Side 2 is all camp music, Side 1 is a gem with voices we all know and love from the universe of Bullwinkle and such. Tho' uncredited, Discogs reports them as Voice Actor Daws Butler, June Forat, Mel Blanc and Stan Freberg. Its surprisingly irreverent in an early Mad Magazine sort of way, playing around with the word "screw" in a humorously suggestive manner. And after all this... Happy Birthday to Ray Bradbury! He would have been 103 today. As it is, he left us about 11 years ago, but his stories will never die. In addition to writing innumerable classic novels and short stories, many of which were adapted to film and television, he was also a poet, a magician and perhaps most importantly, a lifelong friend to libraries. He appeared in a commercial for Sunsweet Prunes on behalf of his friend, comedian and adman Stan Freberg (reportedly he was initially reluctant to commit, until Freberg told him it would be called “Brave New Prune,” at which point Bradbury asked “When do we start?”). I’ll review a Disney Fantasy animation film title that I watched 🎥🎞 The Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh (1977) くまのプーさん 完全保存版 This movie is A feature -length animation depicting cute adventures and eternal friendship with the popular character “Winnie the Pooh" as the main character. Three episodes were screened as one work. I thought about this film, They are the characters that represent Disney after Mickey Friends, and the characteristic of these characters is that they make us calm when we’re depressed. From the middle, I feel like Pooh and the others what they’re doing in the middle scenes, and I think the appeal of this work is that I can't concentrate on the story in a good way.
