I've received several questions about my sliders and if they will fit on the new Magic Band+. I ordered one from ShopDisney and just received it. I'm happy to say that my sliders fit the new bands very nicely. The new bands lay flatter and are very smooth. I thought the 'straps' would be wider but they are the same size as before (just the center 'puck' is larger). Swipe to see all photos, in one, the old band is on top of the new band. You can still place slider over the overlapped ends to reduce chance of losing your band (see pic). See the variety of slider designs in my store. I made a few subtle updates to my Cast Member Appreciation cards, and I'm in love with how they turned out. First, I made them look even older 😅 (hard to see in a photo). Next, I found a different type of printing technique which sandwiches a very thin green layer between the front and the back. So thin it was hard to get a photo of it with one card, but you can see the green on the edges in these photos. The result is a thicker, (even) more substantial feeling card (and they have a slight velvety texture as well). With the color in the middle it almost seems like a little booklet 😊 Note the overall cost of the listing is a bit lower because only 6 fits in the packaging now. I hope you (and the Cast Members) like them! NEW Monorail "Crawl" activity! Back in January I mentioned that I was working on a new product idea related to vintage Disney tickets (because I LOVE them so much). Well I actually finished developing and designing my idea in February and took my prototype with me to #WDW in March. But because of the closures I held off on releasing it in my store. Though venues and activities are still a bit limited because of Covid, I decided to go ahead and release it now. . So here it is... A new monorail activity "ticket" booklet! If you've noticed my other products, you'll know that I like products that help you explore your destination and jot down your memories. So of course it has space to write down beverages, but it is so much more! There is a "ticket" for each monorail resort (plus bonus ticket for the Wilderness Lodge). Each ticket has a list of resort-specific activity suggestions as well as a few photo op ideas. I just had a great conversation with Emily of @wedodisneyright. She told me that she and her husband, Scott, used my Drinking Around the World lanyards at Epcot last summer. So this is the first time I've been back to WDW since I designed these cast compliment cards. I brought some with me on this trip, and we have been having fun passing them out to Cast Members who went out of their way to do something nice for us. While I didn't design these sliders to be "locks", they seem to work quite nicely for that purpose. I've never lost a Magic Band before, but for some reason this new one came loose when I lightly brushed it on my side. So I moved the slider over the overlapped ends and now my worry about losing my band has gone away. 😊 .
