Phase 3 - Week 3/26. For the past two months, I’ve been using my Fitbit to carefully monitor and experiment with my sleep patterns. My initial goal was to boost my nightly rest from an average of 5 hours to at least 8 hours. However, this task has proven to be more challenging than I expected. Despite my best efforts, I’ve only managed to increase my average sleep to just over 6 hours on average, and only on a few occasions I was able to achieve the 8-hour target. I’ve observed a clear connection between insufficient rest and higher glucose levels, underscoring the importance of consistent, quality sleep for overall health. 【29th April 2024】 筋トレ なし ウォーキング 76分/ 6.5km/ 452kcal 今朝は近所のプラトーを歩いてきました。 曇りぎみですが、雨も風もなく 気温も低くなくて 久しぶりに心地よい朝。 ところで近所のプラトーを歩き始めて4年近く。 顔見知りのワンコ仲間も徐々に増えました。 ごくたまにしか見かけなくても 長年歩いていれば 見たことあるというのは分かります。 ただプラトーにはワンコのお散歩や ランニングする人より、 サイクリストの方が10倍位多いんです。 でも皆さんサイクリスト用の派手なウエア、 サングラス、ヘルメット着用だし 一瞬で通りすぎるので 誰一人認識出来ていません。 しかし先日、プラトーから出てくると 車が停まっていて、その横で 自転車準備中のおじさまが。 横を通りすぎる時に目があったので 挨拶をしたら「よく歩いてますね」 みたいなことを言われたので 「えぇ、毎朝ですよ」と返しました。 私は全く覚えていないですが、 あちらは私をよく見かけているということです。 そしてまた数日後、同じ所に車を停め 準備中のおじさまに挨拶。 正直同じシチュエーションで 車を覚えていたのと 何となくオレンジ色っぽい自転車で 分かったのですが、 ただすれ違ったら絶対分からない。 向こうからすれば、 このプラトーで歩いている中では若くて 女性で、しかもアジア人なので 私を認識するのは簡単。 いやぁ、サイクリスト人と 顔見知りになっても 実際顔見てないし😅 認識出来ないから面倒だなぁと 思っていたのですが... 今朝、プラトーから出て 帰宅途中の道で ３車線分離れた向こう側のバス停から 「こんにちは～」と声が聞こえたので 振り向くと、サイクリストの男性2人が 自転車を停めてベンチに座っていました。 両方知り合いではないですが 片方のおじさまが軽く手を上げたので このおじさまが私に挨拶したのは 間違いないのです。 でもヘルメットはかぶっていなかったけど サングラスをしてい正直同じおじさまなのか 全く判断つきませんでしたが💦 もちろん分かったような調子で 笑顔で「こんにちは」と返しましたが😅 私は割りと人の顔も名前も覚えられる方ですが サイクリストは本当に多いし 結構仲間で多い時には10人位で走っているし 皆似たような格好でサングラス、ヘルメットなので 認識出来るわけないですよね💧 - - - #ダイエット垢  #ウォーキング #40代ダイエット #自然 #ダイエット記録 #ダイエッター #朝散歩 #アラフィフダイエット #fitbit #朝活 #朝 #ヘルシーライフ #インスタダイエット

Just under two hours for those 11 miles which is a new PR for me! Also the fiirst time I've held and maintained a pace in the 10 minute range for that long so yay for that. Our treadmills only go for 99 minutes so I had to restart for the last two which is a pace killer but gives me a chance to breathe for a few seconds. I ended up using one gel, half a pack of @honeystinger chews, one 500 ml bottle of Tailwind and one bottle of water. Those squeezy bottles work great on the treadmill and it was hilarious seeing gym folk staring at me while I drank and ran. Didn't bother me any since I was binging The Walking Dead. 🤣🖤

Last Tuesday's group trail run was great even tho I got there late. The group was about ten minutes ahead of me but since I've run trail out there plenty of times, I did my own thing. I walked a bit with one of the women of our group when I caught up and chatted with her then took off down a separate road. I aimed for a faster pace down that road back to the car and I nailed that despite the hotter 90° temps. Starting to acclimate to that hot weather finally! 🖤

I wanted to do the In Body test today but it seems like they already packed it up 🥲 I was hoping to do it by the end of this month but I guess I will wait until August!
