Wow! This is turning out to be such a busy, fun-packed summer! I’m really excited to share that I’ll be at @theloveandlightfestival in Gravesend this Saturday 29th July, offering readings and healing from 10am. I’ll be offering Usui Reiki, Angelic Reiki and Trance Healing, as well as psychic and mediumship readings. As a Master Practitioner in Usui Reiki and an Angelic Reiki Practitioner, I work with my clients to clear energetic blockages and really step into their power. Readings can also help us understand and clear these blockages and help shed light on our true path in an empowering way. We have the talented @leanne_jonesinsta and our very own yogi Stephen performing for us 🎼🎤🎶 Leanne trained at Mountview academy of Theatre Arts and made her professional debut as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End. In the first year of Hairspray's success Leanne was awarded the Critics Circle Award for Best Newcomer, the Theatregoers Choice Award 2008 for Best Actress in a Musical and also the Laurence Olivier Award 2008 for Best Actress in a Musical. Stephen is an accomplished jazz singer having performed at venues including, Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Jazz club, The Hideaway and Cafe de Paris. He is currently a member of The Noteables choir who appeared on BBC 1's Pitch Battle and they recently hosted their own night at The London Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square. Jessica Wilde’s sound is a clash of soulful chic and South London zest. The Brixton raised singer takes classic soul style and blends it with street savvy defiance. This creative fusion reflects her multicultural upbringing; brought up on her St Helenian mother’s obsession with jazz and soul, Jessica doused it with hip hop leanings and set it a light. I'll be speaking at the Love and Light on behalf of mental health on the 16th and 17th January. Why? Because without mental health, we have no health. Let me explain! Imagine sitting in a cinema. The audience are components of your mind. The film is the reality we all share. You can imagine that if the audience is calm, the theatre is clean and smells nice, the staff at the cinema have organised the running of the cinema well, that you can actually see the film for what it is and decide whether or not that film is good or bad. Or to your taste or not to your taste. But, if the cinema is smelly and damp; people are arguing over whose seat is whose and they're loudly arguing or even giving their unwanted opinion of the film, your experience of the film might change. Many people, unaware of the influence of the audience on their experience may blame the film "that film was rubbish... what was it about anyway..." etc Just like many of us with mental illness experience the world. As a grey, boring, unjust, uninspiring mess. The first step however is to understand that those audience members and the general running of our mind; or more specifically how our own minds are ordered, may be creating a dim and unappreciative impression of the world. The film may be rubbish anyway. But we want to give ourselves the best attempt to enjoy it. As an Osteopath, I see countless people whose poor mental health is contributing to their pain. A sense of optimism and proactivity can provide us with a fantastic amount of protection against pain and provide the foundations for a fruitful and productive life. So I am going to be stripping it down to the basics for you, giving you a good foundation of knowledge to explore from. I’ll be covering a few topics to get you started including- - How to find the right crystals for you using colour associations so that you can more intuitively pick what will help you the most. - How to look after your crystals including cleansing and charging. - A few ways of working with crystals such as crystal gridding; a wonderfully meditative practice that really helps you to feel present and calm before meditation, as well as being a beautiful way of bonding with your new crystals.
