After teaching an hour of Hot Yoga this morning I decided to stay on @houseof_leyla for an amazing Handstand workshop with the amazing @busymumsyoga from @tulabalance and it was exactly what my handstand practice needed. I am normally told by people that they cannot meditate because they can't quiet the mind and every time I tell them, then don't let the mind do what it does, meditation is not about quieting the mind but about awareness of the breath and observing the mind, allowing yourself the focus to create space between the movement of mind. . . So today I finally did my first Hot Yoga class at @houseof_leyla ๐ฅ Something I've been putting off for far too long! ๐ I've taken a little break from teaching recently which I'm missing but it's been lovely to carve out some time to focus on my own practice and try something new! ๐ I was definitely nervous about the class as I'd never done it before, I was worried about how hot it would be and just wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it... But I'm so pleased I gave it a try as it's been so long since I've actively done something completely out of my comfort zone!
