Thank you so much to the UH Sustainability team for having me. I was given an amazing opportunity to speak on my experiences building a sustainable business with growing microgreens hydroponically. Microgreens can be grown vertically and with little space. They only use what water they need and any additional goes back into the reservoir to be recycled. This method reduces about 90-95% water waste compared to traditional field growing.
