Just 3 years ago I had the opportunity to visit Tagaytay below you can see the beautiful Taal Volcano area lush and green. It's hard to imagine this whole area is now engulfed in ashes and volcanic debris. Watching the news when it started to erupt was unreal along with all the earthquakes after shocks and knowing friends and family that were near the area absolutely breaks my heart. Still in disbelief that after 40yrs this volcano is alive and smoking. My baby 👶 Last night I went out to a friends birthday party to only have another mom realize my shirt had some milk stains on it and my joggers were on backwards.The only thing l can think of was how happy I was to be out and about. The sleepless nights and milk feedings were showing. Mind you I did put on some makeup so my face l thought looked great! *warning long post* My heart breaks it's been a tough couple days after finding out James has so many cavities. I don't usually share this much as I feel ashamed I didnt do better caring for James teeth, but I also feel it's a good reminder to mamas to get your childs teeth checked earlier. Yes, James eats candy, he bottle feeds at night sometimes and yes, I've tried several times taking the bottle away but cannot stomach my child so hysterical at night. We also brush his teeth twice a day! But still these cavities creeped up. I've previously asked dentist and others when is a good age to take your child to the dentist? Many said closer to 3yrs old when he can sit in a chair for long- which James turned 3 in June. So now left feeling all sorts of guilty, in order to fix his teeth he will have to be put through anesthesia and put to sleep while they repair all his cavities!😭 I'm having such a hard time digesting this. I cannot bare thought of my son under going this procedure at such a young age! On the bright side he loves the dentist at @Atlantischildrendentistry the dentist and hygienists were so enthusiastic working with James, I'm hoping he'll still likes it after his procedure. Here's a video of them taking an x-ray of his teeth!
