I am so proud of Kohen! He had his tongue tie cut yesterday. 3 speech therapists looked at it and confirmed it needed to be done. It was quite a traumatic experience. Kohen is my most defiant child, he is unbelievably strong and does have a lot of rage. I was scared how the procedure would pan out with him awake and fully aware of what was happening. It wasn't easy. His ability to keep focusing on me, on my words and direction, blew me away. I am so incredibly proud of him. This is 1 major step towards improving his speech. The other step we are working on is a stutter program which we have started with his speech therapist and I am implementing at home. He was teased last year in preschool for how he talks and it actually broke me. His speech development has come so far and I look forward to helping him achieve his goals with speech. ACTIVITES EN VOYAGE FAMILLE Après Montpellier et la Camargue, direction la Réserve africaine de Sigean! Durant notre voyage, on a essayé de varier 1jour/2 visite d'une ville et 1jour/2 animaux-campagne. Parce que découvrir une ville pour nous c'est sympa..mais pour les enfants ça l'est un peu moins! Matteo qui adore les animaux à adoré la réserve africaine de Sigean ! L'espace pour les animaux est assez incroyable, presque comme s'ils étaient en liberté. Du coup, ils étaient parfois un peu loin, ou alors on ne les voyait même pas du tout. Une petite déception à ce niveau-la vu le prix qu'on paie (30€/adulte..soit 60€😅)... par contre la partie en voiture était vraiment super !! Heureusement qu'on a terminé par ça pour finir sur une bonne note! My idea of paradise is @CenterParcsUK. 🌲🚲🌊🐿️ As a family, we realised we’d be visiting 4 of the Center Parcs locations across the UK for over 29 years. 🫶🏻 We spent our April break at Whinfell Forest near Penrith in Cumbria at one of the dog-friendly ‘3 Bedroom 2-Story Executive Woodland Lodges with Sauna’ situated in the Fell View area. 🏡 We loved the woodland cycling aspect of Center Parcs and hired bikes to suit each member of the family - including an electric bike for Grandad and 11-month-old Stanley’s trailer! 🚲 We also hired a stroller that fits perfectly in the back of Stan’s trailer to use as a compact pushchair area in the village and restaurant areas too. 👶🏻 We spent a lot of time in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise pool and booked one of our go-to’s when visiting Center Parcs… A pool-side Cabana makes the perfect private base to relax for 3 hours. Si être mère est un chamboulement et un bonheur sans limite, être père n'est pas de tout repos aussi bien sûr 👪 Ça a été très dur pour chacun de nous, de ne pas être ensemble pendant de très longs mois, de m'occuper seule de Kai et pouvoir le prendre dans mes bras pendant qu'Alberto l'imaginait juste... 𝕄𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤 🌿 We've been a bit quiet on here lately but we're still here! March saw Silver turn 3.5 years old and Pippa 18 months old. They are both shooting up so quickly it astounds me! We are really starting to see them have a little friendship now (although it's not always friendly!). Pippa trying to repeat words all the time and knows exactly what is going on/spoken about etc - she usually points and shouts until she gets what she wants ha! Surrendering to the Lord can be a really tough thing to do, especially when you don’t know the outcome. It can sometimes feel like turning your headlights off and driving at night. But once you get to that point of full surrender, that feeling will change. Your worries and stressed about worldly things will feel like a weight lifted off your shoulders, and that feeling of driving at night in the dark will feel more like cruise control, except you don’t even have to drive the car! Everything that God gives you is sufficient- it may not always be what you want, but it will always be what you need. The weight of the stress in your life will never outweigh the peace that comes with surrendering it to the Lord. Because of this, you can walk in freedom knowing that God will take care of you. A recent Medium article covered changing YouTube regulations that would expand YouTube's privacy policy. This change includes an updated privacy request process which would allow "the removal of AI-generated content that features identifiable individuals, whether through their likeness or voice". The aim of this new regulation is to ensure that AI-generated content featuring identifiable individuals can be requested to be deleted. This is a great step forward in increasing digital privacy. However, when QCK tries to advance legislation that offers a similar privacy protection for children on monetized social media accounts, tech companies oppose on the grounds that it places an undue burden on their shoulders. The key question is why. Is it really less of a burden to determine if something is AI-generated than to determine if it features a child? The seemingly contradicting policies and claims are something that we must keep in mind as we continue to navigate new digital regulations.
